My 21 yr old daughter is Chaz’s daughter grown. Black / Mexican born and raised in Cali. As long as you educate her, she’ll be fine. She may end up educating kids around her. We had moments of identity confusion it for the most part she never found a need to pick a side. She had a quince but celebrates Juneteenth (all month). She wears protective style at the rancho or while playing soccer lol. Shes found an even balance, I’d say.

I often wonder if Gary is really this naive or willfully obtuse? I love that Craig and Chaz were smart enough not to go down the rabbit hole with him...

I would tell everyone to get their blood work done and let the doctor tell you what vitamins/nutrients you are low on. I do take a women's multivitamin gummy everyday....and also magnesium and potassium BUT thats only because my blood work showed they were dangerously low ❤

Not concerned. If you love someone, it doesn't matter. If you have internal racism and ONLY want someone because you see their race as superior, then it's wrong and the kids will suffer. Just educate them and be honest.

Facts

I’m a black woman and it’s disheartening to see so many men who I support with my time/money/follows/etc build lives with non-black women and be proud of it. I get “loving who you love”, but mostly it’s rooted in the belief that non-black women are superior and that is truly heartbreaking. 💔

I really loved this episode when I saw it in real time. Gary is my second favorite guest with Dion Lack being first and Sneed being third. This is my second watch

24:05 I try to stay away from vitamins, but focus more on juicing. For energy, freshly juiced organic beets, lemon, and apple before a workout. Sugar high for sure, which is why I only drink this recipe prior to working out. The beets lower blood pressure and increase stamina.

An honest conversation about race is where it starts. Being a black woman and reading some of these comments about race are crazy. Let people love who they want to love. If two people are in love, who cares what color they are. We are lucky if any of us find true love now days, why limit it to their race? I think the parents battles of their own experiences are forced upon their kids. There are a lot of biracial kids that understand both cultures and thrive every day. Even in adversity. I know my history and am a proud black queen. That will never change, even if i was with a white man. Your kids will get their strength and knowledge from you or your fear and confusion, it’s your decision what you decide to give them.
