XY were my first games :( they will always make me happy

Ever since pokemon yellow I never got a chance to trade a pokemon with anyone. X and Y was the first time I traded and I loved it. I even decided to do the one thing I wanted to do since the start, to Catch Them All. It continued until sun and moon and I got every single pokemon but 2 : genesect and volcarion due to them being event only. Maybe one day... Stiil. I got close to it, closer than most. Like pokemon, I was nearly the best there ever was. I hope one day, the old PSS and GTS return with the online bank being an option, not a requirement for generational transfers.

I’ll miss this feature so much. More than half of my Pokémon on X was from trades on the PSS. I remember trying battles against other players and losing most of them

It was amazing. Lack of a second screen aside, I don't know why they ever got rid of it.

I never played any of the Main line Pokémon games but if i were to, i'd play X/Y. These two games have tracks that make me feel Nostalgic without me even hearing them before

@@lassesgamekanaal Can't really get my hands on these games because they just get so expensive since people sell them for a high price, i also don't have an 3DS and Gameboy only an DS Lite which only can run DS and Gameboy Colour Games, i'd emulate the games but my laptop is slow asf

@@Cake2019_6 well, I'm pretty sure second hand 3dses are still relatively cheap, and super easy to hack to download the game onto.

@@Cake2019_6as someone with also a super slow laptop, I can tell you that it could probably run Pokémon from gen 3 downwards, if you are lucky it could run gen 4 and 5, just try to download and see if they run well, that is my recommendation

It will no longer work. March of next year, the 3DS online play stuff will die.

Even as someone who was around for XY, I’ve never understood the hype around the PSS. Definitely far better than the Festival Plaza, but I honestly prefer the Y-Com and SV’s system (I just wish the game didn’t fight back whenever you try to do a trade or battle in co-op).
