I’ll be honest, I completely forgot about this guy. Used to watch his minecraft videos back in the day but as everyone does, I grew up out of that. I found this again in my recommendations and I was surprised it’s the same channel still showing steady growth and still pumping out quality content. As a preschool teacher I just wanted to say to keep up the great work. You're choosing games based on his interest, acknowledging what he sees, asking him about what things are and "correcting" him when repeating his words with correct pronunciation, and encouraging him to talk. All these things contribute in a good way to his learning both about the things he's interested in, and his language proficiency. You seem to be a great dad! I had a smile on my face throughout the entire video. Thank you! :)

I remember being the goofy young kid that started watching Dan’s mod reviews and laughing at stuff I didn’t even understand. Now being almost old enough to drive it’s really heart warming to see that silly teenager that started out with a villager and a bone dog teaching his son these things that he loves doing. I hope that no matter what happens in his life. Asher can look back and go, “That’s my dad,” And smile.

It’s been two years, it’s about time we have Asher on the games again. Here’s a game idea. Cooking mama, sense Asher is interested in food, why not play a game where you make the meal.

I also love how free of choice Dan is, he doesn’t force anything on him at all and I’m obsessed with that 😌

Quite strange but still really wholesome! I’ve been watching him since i was 6 or 7 and its been an amazing journey watching him, his channel and community develop (while I was basically still developing as well lol) and I really respect him for not showing his son’s face and he’s just genuinely a great person, youtuber and dad!) This is actually crazy to see Dan after the.. what.. 5 years I've watched him I think? It's great to see him still being a youtuber, AND a FATHER. Most youtubers probably couldn't handle that. honestly RESPECT

yes me too, made me tear up. i never appreciated or thought about how lucky i was to be doing this, have minecraft, all those games, and dan, it’s a kinda happy pain.

This is what my mind pictures when someone says father-son bonding time and the fact that he wanted to bond with Asher by playing games with him warms my heart

I'm quite new to the channel and I have already been having a lot of fun watching dan I never watched him as a child so I am watching the old videos of his having a great time and I love how he respects his sons privacy and doesn't show him

As someone who's watched Dan for 9 years or something and having grown up with him and seeing how he's changed is so amazing, and now seeing him with his child is just so heartwarming

I stopped watching a few years ago so i just found out he has a kid.

This was the most wholesome thing I’ve ever watched. I genuinely shed a tear watching Dan raise his own kid so well after raising millions of us. Thanks Dan.

His understanding of objects and speech is amazing!

man i love this. this man singlehandedly raised a whole generation, and now said generation is watching him raise the next. cannot wait to see both of them playing minecraft together again! maybe this could be the start of a new custom mod adventures series?

This made me tear up to be honest. Ever since I was around 6, I've watched Dan and he's inspired me to play games, and ive learnt a lot. It inspired me to show others about games, and play it with them. Watching this, and seeing Dan inspire his own child to play, reminded me of how he taught me. I felt as silly as Asher was when I was younger. The fact Dan brung up my generation, and is now bringing up more and more makes me soul burn. Thank you, dan, for being an amazing teacher for us all. A teacher in gaming.

I have been with this channel and been a subscriber for 7 years ❤ Asher is so cute and smart! It's so cool how I've grown up with you and you became an awesome dad! You also have Miles now! But Asher guessed all the horrible drawings in peppa pig, and is smarter then most 2 year olds! (I Think) He got the cat one even right! Asher and Miles will grow up and look back on you as the best dad ever! And who knows! Maybe Asher will have a gaming channel some day, and carry on his dad's legacy!!! Thanks Dan ❤

Seeing Dan as such a great dad almost brings me to tears. Seeing how much he clearly loves his son (obviously) is so sweet because he raised me and my sister. I love this video and I love u Dan! Thanks for helping to raise me as a gamer, I appreciate it and I’m sure Asher will too.

When I saw dans old pugs it made me realize that Asher didn’t get the chance to take care of one of them..(RIP)

this is exactly how i got into gaming thanks for letting this guy play a bunch more
