Thank you so much, this is delicious! I appreciate you pointing out that traditional is better way to describe dishes than "authentic", which is hard to define. I think people sometimes imply that dishes that are not "authentic" are not good or worth eating. It is nice to see you highlight the history of orange chicken.

Can't wait to try this dish. So far, I have made the General Tso and beef broccoli and followed your dad's recipe exactly. The results were much better than the restaurants food. My family of 4 only complains were that I made a serving of 8 and it was not enough. Honestly, I could have made 12 serving of the General Tso's and it would have been all gone!. My son 13 year son HATES broccoli but loved the recipe for the beef and broccoli:had 3rd and 4th servings. Thank you for sharing you family with all of us. Carlos Pinilla

Thank you for another wonderful recipe. Instead of fresh oranges, I use orange juice and Korean citron jam. Korean citron jam makes the orange flavor stronger and more complex with its slightly bitter peel in it. Since 50% of the citron jam is sugar, you will need to adjust the sugar quantity in the recipe accordingly. Korean citron jam is wonderful for making sweet tea, hot or cold. You won't find a jar of Korean citron jam wasted.

I really enjoy these videos. Thank you all for making them. These are dishes I grew up eating. Chinese food makes me happy. When I’m sick I want egg drop soup not chicken noodle. It’s comforting.

I never thought Chinese food would ever be attainable for me to cook. I love this channel. Amazing. Tastes just like the kind I get at my favorite restaurants. I made the egg fried rice with this tonight and 👌🏻
