@@rachellejones6254they have to react to the ride music video !!
Your dad understands Lana perfectly!! He understands the lyrics and breaks them down!! Please he needs to react more to Lana and we need to see your dad reacting to Lana!! Please upload more videos of Lana more often!!
Fun fact! Lana Del Rey’s 1st album wasn’t actually “Lana Del Ray AKA Lizzy Grant” it was actually called “Sirens” and was put out under the name May Jailer in 2006. It’s hard to find, but some of the songs are out there :) It’s a honestly beautiful little album.

Also, you should totally read her biography from Wikipedia & look at some of her old interviews. It’ll give a lot of context to her lyrics. Especially for when you listen to her Ocean Blvd album!
OMFGGG LANA THE QUEEEEN!!

Take me back to the 20-teens!
its funny what you said about possible hip-hop influence because of the lyric in blue jeans: "you were sorta punk rock, i grew up on hip-hop"

I agree. You know Diet Mountain Dew? The first time I heard it I thought it was a hip-hop…
You guys missed the reference to Nabokov’s “Lolita” : "Light of my life, fire of my loins" 😊
i love when dads react to lana

Lana loves hiphop and open speaks about its influence. She frequently collaborated with A$AP Rocky. Loved this video. My favourite lana song.
Dad loves Lana ofc he has taste!
this is my all time fav song ever all the voice, uniqueness, the emotion, the lyrics, the BRIDGE, the instrumental??? perfection
MORE LANA MORE LANA
Every song choice you guys do NEVER fails, thank you for acknowledging one of my favorites… mother!
Lana has grown leaps and bounds from album to album. She’s always doing exactly what she wants without fear. She is way ahead of her time. Born to Die influenced a generation of artists, and she has only recently started to garner the praise and recognition she deserves.
More Lana PLEASE!! you should do all of her albums chronologically🙌🏻❤
This. This song. This song instantly turned me into her fan the first time I heard it back in 2012.
Yes, her name is actually Elizabeth Woolridge Grant☺️
Eminem and Elvis is Lana’s favourite artists. She spoke about it in an interview many years ago.
Your dad definitely will love the honeymoon Lana's album 😍. It's all cinematic
Born To Die is often noted for its hip hop influence. I believe Lana is also a big hip hop fan, she collabs with A$AP Rocky often and mentions it on “Blue Jeans”.
Now that you guys point out her inflections and variations of speed it hit me that they parallel the highs and lows of a toxic relationship
The NFR! album reaction is gonna go so hard, I can’t wait
You guys are such great analysts, Lana is a huge fan of hip hop and has talked about how it directly influences her writing style. she even talks about growing up on hip hop on her song blue jeans
love u guys and lana ❤ thanks for the video
omg your dad really understands lana!love the part about rap and pop music!
I love how this song sweeps us up, rolls us around, and at the end, lets us go by gently allowing you to fall like a feather onto the softest landing from whence she swept us up… that, in contrast to how she went so mf hard on this song … that’s what makes this song absolutely euphoric for me.
This is THEEE song to choose thank you for your service 🫡
If I could afford it I would personally pay for a full-album reaction to her third album Honeymoon. Your dad would have a blast with that album, y'all gotta do it sometime 🙏
OMG please more Lana!!
Out of all the songs you could’ve chose… I couldnt be more proud! Thank you so much for this amazing review! I think the outro deserved a little more attention because its absolutely beautiful but this was an amazing suprise to see this video pop up☺️💖
The dj screw vinyl in the back! 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 Shoutout from Houston
you need to listen to the LA to the Moon version of this song! It's from a live show she played which added guitars and an outro.

One of the best performances she’s ever done!
And her live performances r even better cuz she puts unexpected spins to her voice that takes it to new levels
omg your dad really understands lana! love his view about rapmusic and pop music
yesss more Lana kings
I'm so happy to see Lana on here again!! I would looooooove love to see you guys cover Paramore!!! They just won 2 Grammy's and 1 being best rock album of 2024 in which makes them the first female fronted band to win that specific award, truly amazing band and Hayley's vocals are ahmazing!!!
and then she says who else is going to put up with me thisss wayyyyy
Great reactions 🎉 👏 more Lana please
THIS SONG IS EVERYTHING

NEVER STOPPPPPPP
I love the way she sings the "scarlet starlet" line Idk what it is But it just does things to me 😍
Would love to see your dad react to Mariner's Apartment Complex in the future.
Love this track
we need a full lana album reaction!!!
one of my favs
More Lana please. Love u 💗
I'm an old prog fan (love Gentle Giant, Yes, Van der Graaf over all other bands) but when I discovered Lana 12 years ago, I fell in love with her music and singing style. She is incredibly sensual and the music is more complex then it seems.
On god this album changed my brain chemistry and the trajectory of my life for the good the bad and the ugly. And I don’t regret a second of it!
And omg he has to see her short film tropico 😍😍
dynamic duo back again 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Love this sampled in Off 2 the Races - Joe Budden !!!
Oh my god this is amazing I am so happy
I strongly believe that Off to The Races is Lana's best song. There are many references to pop culture and also to litterature such as the lines "light of my life, fire of my loins" which is a reference to Vladimir Nabokov's masterpiece "Lolita".
I love the Lana vids so 😭
Great rection Lana is sooo good! Do you think your dad would like NF? Particularly NF Story. Such a great song and music video!
Hurray to you guys! Keep it up with lana del Rey music 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Can't wait for you to listen to her best album NFR!!!!
Please do more lana 🤞🏼
Begging on my knees for more Lana

How she hasn’t got a Grammy is criminal!
Would love to see your pops reaction to some Unknown T!

PLEASE CAN WE GET AN ALBUM REVIEW
React more Lana, please ❤ The greatest song
I’m so glad you guys reviewed this song, it’s one of Lana’s most underrated and least talked about songs. Listening to it always made me feel like I’m in a heist/thriller film

PLEASEEE MORE LANA🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
We need a Born to Die reaction or Young and Beautiful
my favvvvv
More Lana please!
omgg make him react to her latest album !
Kai, hold on to this note at 14:48 you'll get your answer somewhere later in the album :)
You guys HAVE to check out T-PAINS cover live show. "on top of the covers"
Please have him react to: -Billie Eilish: what was I made for, when the party if over, everything I wanted -Kendrick Lamar: Pride -Kanye: any songs but since you mentioned runaway then maybe that one or bound 2
I would love to see him react to west coast
Would love a reaction to Mad CJ Mac - Come and Take a Ride or even the whole album "True Game". In my opinion, a completely underrated g funk banger/album.
If he thinks that this is James bond Type song, what is going to happen when he will hear Shades of cool , Honeymoon, 24 .... dd
I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS TO LANA, PLEASE REACT TO WEST COAST NEXT
Off to the races has Lolita references so he def was right abt the weird vibe
Young and Beautiful is a Lana masterpiece, from The Great Gatsby
Joe Budden back when he was a rapper sampled this song, same track title on a Mixtape called A Loose Quarter! It would be a great follow up to this video , keep up the amazing work fellas.

That is actually how I discovered Lana. I heard the Joe Biden song and was like “who is that voice?!” Then I went looking and discovered off to the races… then fell in love with Lana from there. Fun fact: my daughter’s name is Alana Rae and she was 5 when I discovered Lana Del Rey.

@@MKnight1121 Nice, thanks for sharing. It's always a treat to meet fans of Joe's music. Especially because nowadays he's only known for the Podcast. Salute 🫡
This album is amazing. I haven’t liked her following albums as much. I just prefer her vocals against the production style here compared to the others I’ve heard. But I need to give them another listen sometimes my opinions change. Not even sure the last one we bought I listened to at all, Blue Banisters.
Idk if you’ve covered any Solange songs but can you please do “Cranes in the Sky”???!! I think your Dad would thoroughly enjoy both the vocal arrangements and lyrics
