Another great reaction! Jinjer played for 45 minutes, starting at 11am on the 3rd day and other bands were playing on 3 stages at the same time. The reason I point that out is that crowd! I've seen footage of the start and that crowd was there at 11. They were an opening band, but they got the attention they deserve.

@@j.f.fisher5318 News to me, but I can certainly see that being a good song to end on. The info I got was just from the set list, so I honestly don't know if they played the full 45 allotted to them. Every one of your posts I've read, I later stumbled across the same info in articles, interviews, etc. so I completely trust your Jinjer knowledge. If you heard that from a source you trust, it's likely true.

SUBSCRIBED! Loving these reactions, especially the joy you're expressing as you discover how talented Jinjer really is. You have a great eye for detail too, much appreciated - adds so much to a reaction. Here's 15 Jinjer tracks I recommend for you to react to next, in my preferenced order: 1. Judgement (& Punishment) - official and one-take vocal (amazing style switch and heavy groove) 2. Noah - official (love the groove and triplets in this one) 3. I speak Astronomy - official (goosebumps) 4. Sit Stay Rollover - official (aggressive) 5. The Prophecy - official vid (attacks the senses) 6. Pausing death (can't not headbang) 7. Home back (anti-war, dark) 8. Dreadful moments (under reacted to) 9. Retrospection - official (nice behind the scenes/day in the life of type vid) 10. On the top - official (a lot of their signature sounds, though the vid is a bit odd) 12. Ape - official (smacks you in the face and attacks the senses) 13. Pit of consciousness - official (a fan favourite) 14. Cloud factory (energetic, older, 2nd guitarist) 15. Tough choice... Maybe Captain Clock - official lyric video or Words of Wisdom... Can't decide. Many more of course. Any of the live shows from Kiev or their newly released 'Alive in Melbourne' are good quality too. You can't really go wrong with Jinjer, enjoy the journey.

Her effortless transition from clean to harsh and back shows pure skill and talent. Shes doing it right. Notice how out of breath that she is but she still pulls off stellar vocals and puts on a show. She has amazing breath control. Im blown away by the talent of each member of this band. Ive heard the drummer is self taught. He was originally a guitar player but the band needed a drummer so he taught himself.

I'd seen quite a few bootlegs from various shows so I was used to it before this came out though. ;) I'll add my voice to the suggestion of I Speak Astronomy official. Also, the song that it is said was supposed to be the last song of this set except technical issues delayed their start so they had to cut it short Sit Stay Roll Over live in Melbourne. I don't usually watch Band Maid but I'll watch you react to it haha. A couple of other bands for your list: Mongolian folk metal band The Hu, starting with Wolf Totem or Yuve Yuve Yu. I'd say Eugene looks more like a full sized Tyrion Lannister / Peter Dinklage there. Perennial also got a very beautiful music video. The song itself has a double meaning, being about seasons and seasonal depression, which Tatiana suffers from. And as a fun fact / detail, she actually changes the lines up a bit during the live shows. Normally it repeats "no we're not dead" a second time, but live she changes the second time into "no you're not dead", directly addressing the crowd.

Very nice reaction. Subbed as soon as you noticed their musicality on the Pisces video. There’s so much to like about this band! Once the shock Tatiana’s voice wears off you start to really see how amazing this band is. I’m a real old school metalhead as between Jinjer and Gojira these bands have really gotten me excited about the state of metal. Technical, progressive, groovy, unusual song structures and most definitely heavy with a badass metal goddess on vocals I love this band!!! You never know what you’re going to get with them! You’re going to get a lot of requests as the Jinjer fan base is quite rabid and you pretty much can’t go wrong. Even in their older less refined stuff you could see where they were going. So I’m going to throw out a request very few people have done and that’s the song “Home Back” from the Macro album. There’s is no official video yet (that’s supposed to be coming) but you could still react to the song. A song that really shows their versatility! Anyway I’ve been really enjoying your reactions and I’m sorry about the length of this comment but I get excited when I see someone who can really appreciate this band!!!

they are very talented, the live videos prove they are real, it wasn't a studio trick or just a viral video, she's unique, she's at the same time an angel, a demon, a godess, a scary monster and a sweet girl, hahaha.

There's a video of her guessing whether a song clip shown to her is a real band or an animal dubbed over, and they play an actual band with an actual parrot lead vocalist, and she asks "they pay... A parrot... To be in the band?" It's one of my favorite reactions of all time

Love Jinjer, and yes, you NEED to see them live. One of the few bands I can think of that are just as good live as they are recorded. Try Spiritbox. I would suggest starting with Rule of Nines for the full range of vocals before hitting their more popular, and more recent, Holy Roller. The latter is a definite banger though. I think you will enjoy them.

Extremely fun to watch yer reactions to our lil Ukrainian band, since 2011 ( i know I lost 2 years ) check out their old stuff, in lil clubs to the da flavour, like angels or exposed as a lier or scissors, and, if im not annoyingly cringe - love at bukovina castle 2013

For a venue like Wacken I find the gold outfit perfectly reasonable. First of all it is a daytime performance and the backdrop of the stage is black. Considering there is a shitton of people there, the majority would actually be fairly far away from the stage and so the gold outfit makes her visible from "any distance" 😉Eugene on the other hand, dressing in black, would not be very visible for the people who are far away from the stage.

This song wasn't supposed to be the last on their set but since it was their first time at Wacken, they were one of the first bands to play in that secondary stage on that day (this was around 11AM) and because there were some stage gear problems which delayed their start, they had to cut their performance short (they played less than 30 minutes).
