I think this has some more important messages than just about road rage. I am a children’s rights activist involved in a nonprofit organization that is trying to make changes within the family court and think this video can help. Not only does it show that parents need to control their anger but men need better from the family court system to help fathers and children have proper relationships. I see it everyday that men are angered by a system that fails them when all they want is to be in their children’s lives. The ending of this story is just further proof that far too often the family court and mothers do not give men a fair chance to raise their kids. It also shows how the system causes a lot of fathers anger that they wouldn’t have if they were just given the chance to raise their kids. Ladies please do not take this as a knock on all women because not all women keep the fathers of their kids away from dads. Thank you for this powerful video.
She deserved it. That man kept telling her to apologize but she made the situation worse by provoking him. I’m not sad about the man shooting her. The girl got what she deserved!

@@lauracox179 You're right I guess.
Lessons learned: 1. Be patient and more understanding. The judge, Martha, and everyone in court need to understand that the traffic is not Don's fault and people may run into obstacles out of their control that make them late. I've had to call my boss about being late stuck in traffic a few times and he was totally cool with it knowing that it was out of my control. 2. While Don wanted to do something to Sophie for how she behaved and her being in the wrong (initially). He could've just took a picture of her license plate, car, and face and filed a report to have her punished for her behavior. 3. Cutting him off and flipping him off was one thing. But throwing the glass out of the window in the path of cars is ultimately what caused this. Sophie could've at least thrown the glass out her passenger window where it would've gone to the side of the road and not in the path of vehicles. She continued to escalate the situation by not taking responsibility for her actions (something NOBODY does nowadays), not admitting she was in the wrong, and refusing to apologize but nooo, she just had to win. 4. Most importantly you don't know what kind of mood someone may be in or what another person's situation is or things have been going for them. That person's mom dad or any other loved one could've just passed away, they could've lost their job, or in this case about to loose their kids. They may be on edge and anything you do no matter how small can be just enough to push them over the edge. When someone is in that situation, they can almost bipolar and any inconvenience or small thing can turn them from a normal sane person, to a raging rampaging psycho.

There NEEDS to be a part 2 of this! That father committed murder & road rage and just found out he regained custody of his kids, but once the police & judge founds out about what he did, he will lose the very same custody he just gained after the previous owner of the kids had a criminal record just like he just got. You think the father is devastated, just imagine how those kids are going to feel when they found out that their real biological father just got a criminal record as well just like their old Guardian.

Honestly I think he should have called the court that there was traffic and his tire was busted. Honestly if that judge decides on who gets the custody of the child just because of who’s earlier, he or she is terrible judge. Like what if the mother abused the child the the father is a good father and cares for the child but he’s late-
don: see you in hell. also don after he dies:
9:04 So while being held at gunpoint by this guy for pissing him off, she decides to piss him off more
Killing is always wrong no matter what, and the guy is insane for killing somebody over a tire, but it also says something about that girl that she couldn't apologize even when her life depended on it. Edit: Okay, yeah, he was actually mad about how he lost his kids because of her behavior. Still not justification, but not as crazy as doing it over a tire.

Both sides are wrong. Yes, Don was definitely in the wrong for not keeping his cool and going as far as to killing Sophie, Sophie was pretty disrespectful towards him and should've just admitted she was wrong for throwing the bottle and causing Don a flat tire and spit in his face, and apologized. That is such a tragic moment on both sides.

The most realistic presentation of the human psyche within contemporary cinematic history, third time watching still so in love with this thrilling, deeply human story.
Everyone telling the girl to take accountability for her actions like the dude didn't totally ignore all the times he has been late prior to this leading to this being the last straw.
That guy who saw what happened just needed to call 911, same with Sophie’s friend instead of watching her in pain, she said she needed help anyways

Both parties are at fault. You can’t control the fact that you’re stuck in traffic because someone got in an accident but you can accept responsibility for your actions, avoid escalating the situation, and control your temper. It is better to be late to something (even a court hearing) than be impatient to the point that you cause another accident/incident. This is why it’s important to teach all teens to be defensive drivers and to be aware that other drivers have lives (work, legal proceedings) and might not be as patient/forgiving. Drive safely.

Theory Of what happened after the video: The two teenagers called the police and Don was arrested and a couple of days later he was sent to the court room The same one where they said he won and after finding out what he did they quickly took away his reward and took away his custody over the kids and the kids had to go into foster care and as for Don he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for committing murder
