I was so intrigued by this whole episode. It's so great to be introduced to a new disorder because it helps us to be more careful of our environement and the ppl that are struggling. From my undertanding, Cat's father was probably stealing all this money because his other side remembered when he was struggling to make end meets. Then when he was coming back to "himself" all this was forgotten. I thought it was truly amazing. I was desapointed at Gabe tho because he seemed to value is pride more then his gf's happiness. I also think Layla should've find a better way to deal with her husband. I get that they're married, but his actions could've escalated way faster. Still, amazing story, thank you MSA! 16 Reply

acknowledge? yes, portraying the disorder? absolutely no. They portrait us like we're some monster about to combust any second and we're gonna rob a bank if we dont get proper treatment or sum ☠☠ Like we need to be lock up in an asylum to be hold countable.

this is one of the rare times where the stepmom isn't evil...

So glad Layla was there to help Catherine's father with his condicion and didn't try to break the family appart. She's very kind, caring, brave and only wants the best for him they make a perfect couple. Of course it takes time to trust someone totally new in your life but Catherine should have got to know Layla before judging her. Glad things worked out between Catherine and Layla and the father told the truth about what happend those nights when they were chatting with Layla. He never meant to hurt Catherine he was just struggeling really badly and needed help the love he has for Catherine shows. Beautiful story again

I always watch MSA despite of my busy schedule. As a Psychology student, I really appreciate how they put different types of mental illness in their stories and this is one of them. It open the eyes of people that mental illness is true and not just mere myths.

This is truly one of the sweetest family stories MSA made. I'm glad that Catherine gave her stepmother a chance and that she eventually realized that Layla was only doing her best to be there for both Catherine and her dad. And I love how Gabe and Catherine made amends and they became an item and that nothing can stop them.

Surprisingly I didn't see the DID coming and I couldn't tell where the story was going, usually I can tell what will happen in MSA videos. This was a good one.
