This song was composed in honor of my ancestors the Dacians. For this song I've used tribal drums, bucium (ancient Dacian wooden lur) tilinca (overtone Romanian flute), Bag pipes, and the rhythm is inspired by traditional Romanian and Moldavian folklore. Friday, December 22 available in all streaming platforms.

Make one with balkanic bagpipes as the main instrument! The roman poet Ovid mentions how fond the getae were of using the bagpipes, day and night.

Thank you. This song is inspired by a type of Romanian folklore music called "Horă" , which is normally played on celebration dates, and has an energetic rhythm with good vibes.

Thank you so much ! I'm very glad you like it ! I actually composed this song last week (I have another one WIP) This was a spontaneous idea (after a few glasses of pălincă :))) I was inspired by our traditional Romanian winter songs, "The bear dance and the goat dance" , and I've tried to maintain that strong and positive energy in this song. I'm still new to playing the tilinca, since it arrived to me about a month ago, and I practiced about 5 times before recording this song but I'm happy with the sound so far, so I'm quite motivated to make more songs like this in the future . I wish you Happy Holidays !
