The barrow wights are available in any place with a barrows resource. Annuminas, tharbad, bree, the downs, so on and so forth.

Favourite campaign but bloody difficult, I find I don't have the economy to turtle for ages so it really pushes me out of my comfort zone and makes me attack fast. Looking forward to seeing what direction you go, I've done the attack Gundabad, the rush west, the rush south, and they're all fun. The north remembers :D

It is going to be a challenge. So many high tier factions that all get a buff for me being the player. Going to be rough, I think a mix of turtle and attacking certain areas.

Thrilling episode. I love the chesslike strategy of the whole video. Really makes the early game thrilling. I know the a.i. doesn't make any sense late game, but this early game enemy a.i. is awesome.

Seeing the ND actually pump out troops and fight is so rare, it is a little alternate universe.

Joo i am exited for this campaign! Make good use of your generals early and this campaign is quite doable but it def is one of the harder ones if the dwarves stay good.

This campaign will be interesting! Hopefully it won't have to be "praying for the dwarves to accept the gift" simulator 😂

I just finished playing this campaign, all i can say is what a nightmare! You can throw the "heir" retinue onto hunvorn to get 77 barrow wight general. that helped me significantly. I am very much looking forward to seeing how you manage this campaign, considiring you always make it look easy compared to my play throughs. That battle at nochva rhaglaw is a summary of how my entire campaign felt. Love your playstyle and watching your campaigns. Cheers from USA

I can speak for myself alone, but i did have many of those moments. so many of your units just get out classed 1v1 against the surrounding factions. dwarves are a cake walk compared to the high elves and dunedain from my experience. They dont have cavalry to counter your own. Cant wait to see you show us how its done. I could be completely wrong, but i feel that the rhudar pikes underperform for their stats, and one of my biggest gripes with angmar is that the teir 2 rhudar barracks line feels completely unnecessary. I completely ignored getting the t2 barracks in favor of the main line angmar barracks. Show us how it's done!!

@@stevenjohnson9077 Agreed on the Dwarfs points, cav always can out flank them. I think the idea with the barracks is so you have a bunch of numbers to throw at them but as the player you don't have the luxury of that much money early like the AI does.

Usually pretty hesitant when it comes to Evil factions, but your Harad campaign ended up beeing one of my favourite ones (also a testament to the quality of this mod), very much looking forward to this one then; hopefully the dwaves refuse the rings, we wouldn't want you to have an easy time now... ps: let the farmhand pikes have a quick death, they are good bois.

You do not want to fight Elrond even with cavalry unless you got the maruaders you will be in trouble. I've seen a whole 20 stack empty their quivers solely into Elrond and at most half his unit died and with cavalry charges in the rear Elrond's unit took at least a couple hundred down with him.

Elrond is beatable, just need some space to manoeuvre. If he has a half stack that could be a problem though.

oh man, you almost got the whole eastern elven leadership. but hey, by taking cameth brin soonish you can get more trade with the golbins and have solid defensive position. I cant wait to see you get the witch king in this campaign and dominate the elves, although I will be sad Aragorn is going to die.

@@epmtotalwar also, I have never played this campaign but I was curious, are the Rhudar troops and barracks locked to the same areas as the Rangers or are they universal?

@@zachbova9935 Good question. I would think the warg camps are available everywhere otherwise you'd be desperately short on cav. Maybe the Rhudaur lads are limited, I guess we'll discover it together.

@@epmtotalwar of I remember my northern kingdom correctly rhudar land is above imladris, to carn dum, and down to fennis drunain and MAYBE weathertop? I remember their was only 1 ranger settlement that allowed all 3 region troops to be trained there. so you western most settlements shouldn't have the barracks if it is region locked

@@peterhe6699 my latest campaign as Isengard saw me fighting lots of random generals without armies (a big Dale family I had to prune), and one troll unit could wipe out an entire bodyguard unit before the enemy could get in a single kill. They really can just flatten the toughest units, provided you don't let javelins or artillery hit them.

Where can you get trolls as this faction, anybody know any places besides gundabad? Cause that was the only place I could get them
