The problem isnt just that DaBaby sounds similar in projects, I enjoy the sound, I think the issue is the flow. The flow makes it very hard to absorb the words like a Russ, Jay Z, Drake, Ye, Etc. The sound is very very very very similar because he uses the same producer and he likes super simple beats. He needs to diversify lyrics and the flow needs to slow down or he needs straight heat for bars he must adapt. I think the antics made the public angry, but not enough to drop off in this way according to numbers

I think his sound did change. He doesnt sound anything like his Baby on Baby tape to me no where near the same kind of flow or lyric material. He sounds like a guy trying to rap how DaBaby raps than being himself. Same critique im starting to have for Rod Wave
