Negativity always followed Da Baby. From insulting/assaulting fans, being disrespectful to the mother of his child, and just plain always seeking attention, his career was destined for failure. He felt that he was untouchable. Smh

This is it. Especially how he treated his baby mama he lost a majority of his female fan base. Next he lost his LGBQT/regular fans with the aids comment. Lastly his attitude not to just admitting he fucked up. He lost more fans. Hammer in the coffin is lack of progression with his sound. Bro killed his own career.

DaBaby had a run, and its faded. Its like if Kanye would have stayed with the College Dropout theme for 5 plus years. You have to evolve as an artist because once people hear the same stuff over and over again then its only a matter of time before they get tired. The antics and comments just intensified it. Look at Youngboy, he's still selling because he has a hardcore fanbase.

The problem isnt just that DaBaby sounds similar in projects, I enjoy the sound, I think the issue is the flow. The flow makes it very hard to absorb the words like a Russ, Jay Z, Drake, Ye, Etc. The sound is very very very very similar because he uses the same producer and he likes super simple beats. He needs to diversify lyrics and the flow needs to slow down or he needs straight heat for bars he must adapt. I think the antics made the public angry, but not enough to drop off in this way according to numbers

The Game was the first guy that 50 couldn't finish off and ruined his career like 50 did with Ja Rule. The discussion was around why DaBaby didn’t get to fulfill his full tenure. I believe that his issues outside of music did more damage to that than the repetition of a sound he was using. They talmbot Jetson makin’ another one (lol) like Mike Will didn’t literally give MF’s Band Will Make Her Dance 5011 times. Like literally. Same notes different bounce.
