It's gorgeous 😍 and I love the spine stitching
Wouaaaaaa, magnifique, quel magnifique travail... Bravo et Merci à vous pour le partage... De France...
Love it. Interesting construction. Just a note: When I use a white glue on the cover, I use a credit card to spread the glue very thin, then press the fabric down quickly and firmly. The glue has to be thin to prevent it from bleeding through the fabric. Hope this helps. Thanks for sharing!

That's actually a wonderful tip there! Thank you!
Alexandra is a wonderful instructor. She has earned her a new follower. I have been wanting to do a Leonardo journal!!
Amazing tutorial! Really liked seeing how you created the cover and did the binding... still learning some new techniques!❤️ I find it helps to spread out the tacky glue when glueing down fabric so it doesn't bleed through🤗
Love this project and kit, so so so much!
This was a fantastic tutorial thanks! I learned a lot of different things. I particularly like how you attached the closure for the small notebook - I'd never seen it done like that before! Gorgeous journal!

Fabulous, just ordered it, thanks x
thank you
Very well done. I watched closely from 10:24 but did not see how or where you inserted the envelope into the signatures. I'm completely stumped. Had no problems anywhere else.. It' an exciting kit and very professionally done tutorial. Thank you.

HI. THe flap which is attached to each one of the three envelopes serves as a continuation of a page and is just folded and stacked in between other pages of the signature. After that you just poke the holes in it, as if you would do with any other page. I hope this makes sense :)

@@ClayGuana Not really. I think that I will just leave the envelopes out. Thanks anyway.
Amazing job beautiful subject
This tutorial is amazing
Love it very interesting 👍 I have been experimenting using spices and Nutmeg to get an aged effect on my journal soaking it little water over a day or so then soaking the excess water out with wet wipes and then another sprinkle of the spices when becomes more dry works wonders 😀 😉

6 minutes and 41 seconds in and I'm convinced. I MUST have this kit! In order to have the papers featured in this tutorial, do I need the optional mega kit as well?
@vectoriadesigns

For the Tutorial we've used only the Da Vinci's designs. The optional kit is something that we've selected because it matches very very well with the main kit!
Your work is absolutely beautiful!!! I have 1 question: why are the inside papers called "signatures"?

Love it and can’t wait to make my own! Did I miss the part where the envelopes were inserted? Are they attached to the spine or to the signature? I’m still confused how to do that.

Hey Erica, thank you for that question! The envelopes are attached to the signatures. And the signatures are to be attached to the spine. Please let us know if you have further questions! We are here for you.
How did you print double sided? Is her program easy to do this?
@vectoriadesigns
Жыл бұрын
Just print one side, take the sheet out of your printer, turn it around and print another page on the other side :)
I didn’t see how you inserted the envelopes in the signature?

Hi Nellie, thanks for the comment. Watch the video from 10:24. I added the envelopes between the printed and tea dyed pages, by the hinge.
what kind of paper is being used to print out the paper that gives it that semi gloss look?
