I remember when I was playing DAI for the first time, I was supposed to be a female elf mage and romance Cullen. Didn't think much about Solas when I first met him, but when I talked to him the first time in Haven - I was all his. So whether I play my Lavellan as a mage or rouge, I always choose Solas. And if Bioware just dares to let you be forced to kill Solas, then they have to watch out, or they get a Thor's Hammer in their heads. You do not mess with a red-haired Lavender named after the thunder god of Nordic mythology.

Don't know about that. The Inquisition was a quick fix to a big problem, and its dissolution is probably canon. if you've played the other games and played the dark descent dlc...we got bigger fish to fry.

What makes it so tragic, and what you captured so well here, is that he could easily stop it all and just be happy with her. All he had to do is say, ‘my fight is over and I want to be with you.’ Yet….. he can’t…. Or won’t stop…. And thus, he has to watch the woman who’s fallen in love with him be shattered over and over as he keeps pulling away to continue on his chosen path.

The fact she wanted to call him "A cold hearted son of a bitch" I dunno I find it funny!!! I just feel that Solas should've had two endings and your choices would decide what happened! Like for example you find who he is accept it even though his mistake is literally killing you aka the rift mark.. and convince him not to kill everyone or something or actually encourage him... I dunno my point is two endings for every romance would've been awesome...
