Did you know that you can register with the University of Iceland for free and download their Icelandic books to learn? This is what I am doing. The language is amazing. It sounds like a soft purr, and is based on calling things exactly what they are. I am in love.

I think this is an so called "Altbauwohnung", pre- or post war appartement . The hight of the ceiling in apartments like that measures between 3 and 4,5 meters.

Discovering this bloke (and his band) has made 2020 for me and brightened up the depressing and distressing year of the virus.
