D7 Visa second appointment all you need to know | Portugal D7
In this video I run over everything that you will need to know and prepare for your second D7 visa appointment in Portugal. Last week we had our appointment and were accepted as citizens of Portugal. From here we look forward to plans of getting a property here so the house search continues. Leave your comments if you have any further questions.

This was very useful for us, as we are also looking to move out their. We have a property already in Portugal. Just at the very early stage of the V7 Visa. The only stumbling block we can see is disposable income. We have a good amount of savings to support us till we find a suitable stream of income, by means of work etc. But only when we get into Portugal, unfortunately we do not work online at the moment, like yourselves. Any way good vidio thanks 👍 Time will tell with our plans We are In communications with Manchester, like yourselves did. Keep doing what your doing 😎😉

Good luck with the application. I think having a property out here already is going to help you massively. If like you said you potentially have work lined up out here if you can draught or have draughted some type of signed letter then I believe that would help also.

Great insight as always, Thanks for your effort. It seems they have changed the digital Nomad income requirement to around £2800/month. Did you apply for a different type of visa, you mentioned somewhere around £700/month? I understand there is 0% tax for income produced from outside Portugal and 20% for income from Portugal, does this mean once you get your residence, you are allowed to get a job in Portugal. I thought D7 was only someone who will work remotely from Portugal and won't get a local job. Thanks for your help!

Hello Scot & Jen, It was a great and superb video with thorough insight. Good job guys. Keep up. It will be of great help if you could kindly share the name of the lawyer through whom you got your NIF or name of any good lawyer, for that matter. Thanks for the video.

Hello Scott, you mentioned this was the 2nd appt. Was the first appt at SEF as well, or are you referring to an appt to apply for the D7?

@@ScottAndJen I see. We don’t have SEF in Canada. We would just go to the Consulate. It’s great to know what your appt was like in Portugal though. Very helpful! Obrigada ~
