Hi Julia, great and informative video indeed. I think you have an amazing personality on camera. Please enlighten me on the following. I was told that applying for a freelancer residence permit or an entrepreneur immigrant residence permit nowadays from within portugal is total madness. They say it could take up to 2 and half years to get an appointment then get the visa processed especially if you’re from a third world African country. I’ll be coming to portugal with a 30 days Schengen visa which will expire about 2-3 weeks after I landed. Is there a way to complete my application within that timeframe? What would you say is the best alternative given how tough it is for third world countries to obtain a Schengen visit visa? Apply from within or apply from outside? Is it correct to assume that if I can’t submit my application or even get an appointment before my schengen visa expires, I become illegal?

Hi Seelan, it's difficult to get a job in Portugal, and I would guess that it is easier to get a job after you're in Portugal based on my experiences. If you are looking to move to Portugal with a work permit, I would suggest looking up your local Portuguese consulate for the requirements.
Hi Julia, Can you share your email address as I have around 2 to 3 basic questions about acquiring and maintaining the residence permit?
