I support the coal industry myself, I 100% agree! I’d love to operate a D11 but not there…those are a special breed of folks to work in that fiekd
Looks like a waste of fuel running that machine moving nothing.
I don’t think he’s packing it. A dozer puts very little pressure on the ground which does nothing for compaction.
You are correct it's primarily used for pushing out the coal to spread it out for the wheeled dozers to pack it in.
