I don’t recommend to buy updated D10. It is my favourite flashlight. But the new version has annoying noise

That's a terrific beam pattern for a headlamp! It's bright, wide enough coverage, and has no glaring hot spot that blinds you when you look at something close to you. I have the D25S and the SP40, I prefer the D25S because of the larger central hot spot. I don't need a "thrower" headlamp, nor do I want one. I want to see what's right in front of me and what's nearby without the blinding central hot spot. I only use them for projects around the house, or maybe when I work on the mower or car. And the D25S only weighs a bit over 4oz with the battery and headband and it doesn't even get warm on the highest setting should you need to use it. I never need that much light for what I use it for. It's hard to beat the value that the D10 and D25S have to offer. And you made the D10 an outstanding headlamp with the XHP50. I'm just not sure how water resistant they are and I'll probably never find out, so it really doesn't matter to me.

That is what I should try sir. The cheap d10 works well with nichia 4000k, xhp50.2. and Samsung. I haven't tried sst40, sft40. Sst20 doesn't as bright as Nichia 4000k despite in the same host. Thanks for watching sir.
