I agree. Thank you for your professional insight! My father was a horseman. Ever since I was a child I always heard him say you only give a horse quality oats and hay. I guess I am old school. I also believe that if you are mindful of the horse's pedigree and let them breed the old fashioned way, get rid of inbreeding, that we will see a difference in today's horses. They won't be disposable commodities.

@@realtruth2817 what was the name of that Steward they had at Los Alamitos Ed something, if he thought one of them jocks was using the buzzer he'd call him into his office and tell him if he used it once he better use it the next time or he wouldn't be riding there anymore.... that was the quarter horse meet of course I remember I think it was at Coeur d'Alene I had to carry a needle in one hand & a buzzer in the other and I had to hit the jugular on the way the Starting Gate and give the jock the buzzer before they loaded him in the gate OR they wouldn't pay me I think I was getting $0.50 to pony them in the morning and a dollar fifty in the afternoon I can't remember it's been a while back I haven't been with Quarter Horses since 1967 at Rillito Park in Tucson Arizona! And I was at Calder when kmac pulled Lonnie Ray out of the Starting Gate and stripped him right in front of the grandstand and found his buzzer but that was during the thorobred meet!!! And once you've done a few of them Buzzer Trained horses you know what to do... you don't need a buzzer just need to use your Buckle the prong in your Buckle at the right time to get the speed out of them to win the race.... win four races with a filly named Hot Wheels at Garden State Park after I showed Jimmy Mosley how to do that he'd never used a buzzer before & he was from Oklahoma!!!!

How many horses have you broke down? 20 in one year alone. Also how many labor board rules have you broken?
