Dive Wang Baldi Akh- Gurbachan Singh Bhullar
Gurbachan Singh Bhullar was born in 1937 in Mansa. He is one of the most renowned Punjabi author of short stories. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2005 for his beautiful short story collection named Agni-Kalas.
Son of an ex-servicemen who had keen interest in books and literature. He had his own personal library which impacted the writer as well. He consequently developed a taste of literature during his childhood days.
Many of famous works are Agni-Kalas, Vakhtan Maare, Opra Mard, Janenee Janai Ta, Main Gaznavi Nahin and Dharti Dian Dheeian respectively.
