Dude. This was not the era of cruising in your whip, this was the time that Clubs Ruled all up and down the east coast, and I am talking about being on the dance floor all night, no fights, no gun play, just you had to be Dressed to impress, and you better not wear the same outfit to that same club in the same weekend. You need to be Polished head to toe. And the dancing was down and Dirty groove with the lady your with. And your 100% right about DTrain voice sounding like Michael McDonald. Dam this brought me back to a time of my young life, Good job, nice Whip killer Girl who is now my Wife. PS, I just turned 70 yr young. LMAO. Thank you.
Before you said Michael McDonald, I was thinking this guy reminds me of Michael McDonald. The song "I Keep Forgettin' " came to mind.

Yikes, Just checked back and you STILL haven't done more miraculous Jacob Collier songs despite all the positive reactions to the one he wrote and did with Snarky Puppy. Wasupwitdat? Also, now that Willow has emerged with some very complex jazz harmonies and time signatures it's time to look at her Empathogen album. There are two songs in 7/4 on there and that's because her drummer (nicknamed "pockets") is also pretty awesome.
