Guitarist Eyal Levi: "It's funny to say this because ‘Where The Slime Live’ is a total classic, but I've been feeling like people have not been giving Trey and co their due for the massive impact they've had on the evolution of metal. Not that our version of this song is going to change the world, but if any Morbid Angel song deserves the modern treatment, it's this one. Everything about it more than holds up and showcasing it in this fashion really illuminates how ahead of their time they were. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed learning and interpreting this BANGER of a song!"

This is probably THE song I attribute to getting me into extreme metal. My uncle let me choose a song on his iPod and I saw the art thought the band and track name were cool and clicked it. Turned my ass into a metal head for life with that opening. This is an INCREDIBLE cover. I knew this would be amazing and it is.

The riffs in this song are among the best. The band modernizes them in a flavorful way. I’ll definitely check out this album. They were always cool, but this is something else.

I love the effects on these vocals, reminds me of pitchshifting in Goregrind but these riffs are so slow & crunchy I love it. Pinch harmonics with these evil riffs ugh, so good. Thank you for the upload :))

One of my favorites from Morbid Angel and Daath definitely nailed it ...
That was my #1 song in the 90 as a teen and player and to have see them in a show in mtl at the metropolis it was .....absolute madness...great song never dies...never

Morbid Angel is by far my favorite "OG" American Death Metal band. Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Edge of Sanity, and Dismember have made albums that I still go back to to this day. Domination, Formulas, and Gateways have some of the absolute best songs from any of those original bands who crafted and expanded the genre and subsequent sub-genres. Over all the times I've seen them live, this is one of those songs that is impossible not to headbang to. Amazing cover!
Woow! Glad this band and this guest guitarrist took in THIS song!!! Did not expect, that the original could be surpassed in terms of heaviness, but transposing it down by a minor third and the production makes it possible!!! Nailed it!

Morbid Angel is an everlasting musical inspiration to me. And it would be really interesting to listen to the legendary song's cover. I guess, the idea of the cover took its place after Revocation's tour with Morbid Angel.

Daath and Dave absolutely annihilated this cover. The production is also phenomenal! Super punchy with full spectrum sound (as good as you can get via youtubes compression) yet still extremely organic sounding.
