About Luka & Jenalyn
Luka & Jenalyn have competed head to head against the very best in the world in multiple genres and styles of dance. They have done live performances in front of Thousands of Fans in NBA arenas for The Dallas Mavericks and The Toronto Raptors. Their dance roots put them together in the Ballroom world and from there they quickly became Vice Champions Of the British invitational pro exhibition championships 2018 in Blackpool, England, the oldest and most prestigious Dance Competition in the world. Luka and Jenalyn have been recognized as fan favourites at their WOD appearances with standing ovations after each performance. Their unique and spectacular shows have now propelled them to one of the most sought after dance duos in the world.

Their performance was cut in the show, but the full versions are in Coach Chips' YT channel, and it would be great if you could react to it too, maybe even score it. I was sad when they didn't go through the finals, due to the disappointingly low score that the judges gave. But if I would put myself on the perspectives of the judges, perhaps they didn't give them a high score because what UPeepz showed, again, in the eyes of the judges, isn't mind-blowing. UPeepz is very intricate and clean, but those qualities were already seen in VPeepz. Their tricks and stunts are amazing, but The Kings have shown death-defying ones, hence they're the kings. Their style of choreography isn't super unique anymore, because of VPeepz again. Despite of those, I still think that the judges should've given them a much higher score. On the other hand, Oxygen and MDC3 deserved to be one of the finalists, and I'm happy for them.

Having Vpeepz in the community doesn't make them less unique tho. Their brand of dancing is generally Upeepz and the dance style of Vpeepz is still generally Upeepz. You can't pursuade a senior team to create different stuff just because they formed a junior team. Comparing stunts of The Kings with Upeepz' isn't fair too since the Kings specialized in that area while Upeepz is not. Tbh, the kings can't even dance as well as Upeepz. And both teams shouldn't be the subjects for comparison. By that logic, then we can compare the other competitors, as well, this season with the competitors last seasons---and all of them are not also better than other WOD competitors from S1-3. Although, yes, this isn't their best routine. I was hoping for their sperm dance since it's unique and badass (idk if the theme would be allowed tho haha)

Yeah I totally agree that the judges were not being appreciative of the cultural aspects of their performance. I think *WOD needs to have a more internationally diverse panel of judges* instead of just American celebrities. That will make the show more culturally sensitive and inclusive or other styles of dance outside of the ones known in the West. The show needs a cultural upgrade!
