interesting. those tones sound different than what toronto police are using. does that siren have different tone sets you can select? Toronto’s is way different

Toronto has the RDS 17, this is an older model

@@MarsCannon I kinda figured that out after posting the comment. it does seam like calgary’s siren is smoother sounding. I wonder what Calgary police use.

@@gablovestech Calgary police use the RDS 17 as well (newer cruisers use Whelen sirens now). The Edmonton Police use the RDS 16 which is a more aggressive sounding siren than the RDS 17 in my opinion.(which i like lol).

@@MarsCannon interesting. Our rds17 sounds smoother here in calgary than the ones in toronto. And the whelen sirens sound way different. I know some of the vans and trucks use some sort of code3 siren from the tones but I could be way off. The one I have heard the most is the d&r

@@gablovestech Yeah I could be way off as well because I am from Edmonton so I don't know as much about Calgary's sirens as I do Edmonton's.
