Love the restaurant scenes. Anna you look like your mom. And definitely got your dads curly hair. I am jealous!!! My hair is straight as an arrow...
I love you videos. I feel like I’m visiting with friends 🤗
Your parents looked so stylish at the yummy restaurant. Very nice field trip, guys.
Great video. I am so amazed how litter free the streets are in Poland.
Great couple, love your channel.
I would fly over there just to eat in that restaurant!
Hi! You guys are such fun to watch. My husband and I really enjoy watching your videos. My dad was from Lodz & served in the polish army during WW11. Unfortunately, my dad passed away when I was 5 . I hope someday we can visit beautiful city. Thank you for the tour, it meant a lot. 😀💐🌈🇵🇱
Great video. I enjoyed tagging along with you!
Love to see you guys and Mark thank you for taking your hat off inside.
Indeed, now that I've watched the Super video, taste buds are jumping up & down, it's time to get the " kura " cooking to make a nice " rosol ". Ideal for a wet, rainy day in New Jersey!
Great job as always 👏

Mark, thank you for your service and I'm glad that you made it home from the sandbox. I hope you enjoyed my hometown. Best of luck to you both.
Quite an artsy city. The food looks delicious too 😋. Would love to visit Łódź someday.
Wow... Czarnina... I have not had czarnina in long time; my Babcia used to make czarnina, and yes, with plums... we used to go to a Polish family's farm in the country, where we would pick out a couple ducks; they would take them, slaughter and dress them, and reserve the blood. Babcia always had a cooler in the trunk of her car, with ice, and we would put the ducks and the containers of blood in the cooler, drive home, and then Babcia and I would start cooking... such beautiful memories...
Another great video. There is so much to learn about Łódź. I absolutely loved the restaurant, Anetewka which is very interesting with so much history. Thank you for inviting us along to dine with your family.
dziękujemy za oprowadzenie nas w tym w spaniałym mieście Lo
That food looked amazing....
ALWAYS a great Friday morning trip to Poland.....thanks so much for taking us along.
Welcome back :)
I love Łódź!
Miss having my grandmothers czarnina; was wonderful seeing it being served in the restaurant. Even in Polish restaurants in the U. S. it is rare to find.
Aw hell...that is funny stuff!

Hi would love to see you do a tour of a Polish pottery factory and provide a link for us to purchase items offering the best prices. Thanks!
"Anatewka" robi wrażenie... różnorodnością menu i przystępnością cen. Dopisałem do "a must visit". Smacznego i dziękuję!
I just love you guys! You're so relatable and charming. Thanks for doing what you do! I know y'all aren't really nightclub people, but it might be fun to show us fans a nightclub sometime, just to see how it differs from other countries'.

Very excellent video!
Awesome Job! Thanks for sharing 🤗❤️🌹
I have not eaten Czernina since my childhood. I have to check out that restaurant sometime.
Love watching your travel videos. What a great trip to Lodz! Lovely city, yet so underrated. Did you guys see the Poznanski Palace right next to Manufaktura? Quite impressive. The old factories and the residences of the factory owners are beautiful. Thanks for taking us along.

I’m afraid we missed that one unfortunately, but since we have family there, we’ll check it out next time we visit them. Thanks for watching!

Manufaktura zanim powstała miała być sprzedana w całości jako zakłady dziewiarskie. Był nawet inwestor z Australii ale przeraził się ogromem tego zakładu z wewnętrznymi ulicami i wewnętrznym autobusem. Podczas prezentacji przyszłej własności wykorzystał pierwszą okazję i uciekł przerażony ogromem tych zakładów.
Great to see you two again. Its been a while. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Looking forward to hitting Łódź next year - thanks for this.
Love watching your travel videos. What a great trip to Lodz! Lovely City. Thank you for including us in a meal with your family. Manufaktura? actually pronounced closer to the spelling. The factories and all are quite impressive. The mirrored wall is beautiful and I love knowing the history behind it. Thanks for taking us along. I am trying to learn Polish, any explanation as to why Lodz (mooch?) is pronounced so unique?

Hi Pamela, The Polish alphabet includes many latin letters with diacritics (indicating a difference in pronunciation). Of the four letters in Lodz, three have this distinction. I was born in Lodz and can't wait to visit later this year!
Thanks for sharing Poland with us. There is so much to see and do and the food looks so good.
Zapraszamy do Łodzi!
Excellent video!
When in Łódź you cannot miss Monopolis and Księży Młyn.
Anatevka (American phonetic spelling) is the name of the village that _Fiddler on the Roof_ is set in. Idk if you mention it somewhere in the video, but there is a song about it on the soundtrack of the film....
❤
How's the cookbook coming?

Yes. I still have 2 of the glass mugs that they used to package it. So disappointed when they switched to plastic barrel-jars. About 30 years ago the traffic reporters finally got the pronunciation right for the Kosciusko bridge (on the BQE). They used to say Koss-ee-ahss -koh.
Ceny jak z kosmosu. Nie na dzisiejsze czasy
Did you know that JEFFERSON actually offered Thaddeus Kosciusko a SLAVE?!!! He replied: "Thank you but I MUST refuse. How can I accept a "slave" when I'm fighting for independence for all men here and at home in Poland?" Too bad one of our greatest founding fathers didn't pay closer attention to what Gen.Kosciusko said, eh? It might've spared us our own painful CIVIL WAR.

@@markhurning8051 It's ALWAYS a pleasure to watch your videos! I get a "kick" out've your personal "fish out've water" situations as an American living in Poland. Though my surname betrays my DAD's ethnicity I am the product of TWO very distinct and diverse parents of European origins and am however, definitely a real, born "NYer" to the core. My parents insisted from an early age that I learn to speak, read and write ENGLISH perfectly. (My tutor? Our old MAGNAVOX B&W TV and WALTER CRONKITE on the CBS EVENING NEWS. It was in the years BEFORE "SESAME STREET" debuted.) I always look forward to ANA's kitchen videos but REALLY enjoy your FRIDAY "KITCHEN'S CLOSED" ones highlighting your travels around Poland too! (For health reasons that kind of travel is now completely out of the question for me. I do so vicariously through YOU and others via the internet over my little, but still capable, "4G", "smartphone".) Thank you for ALL of your videos! They are appreciated SOOOO very much! I am trying to like it but its looks depressing
Did they hide Jews in that closet during the war?
Does anyone in your family speak English?
