Lódź has a very unique vibe; unfortunately, not everyone can appreciate it. There are over 1600 old townhouses around the city and 600 palaces - it's super impressive! I hope that one day they will be restored to their former glory and people will recognise how special Łòdź is ❤

In the past, Łódź was mostly famous for the textile industry, but yeah - factories were always an important part of the city. You hear lots of 'underrated Polish city titles', and I think this title truly belongs to Łódź, which barely is talked about really. It also comes from the unfair these days reputation for being more 'cold and unclean city', with it being heavily industrialized in the past, but these days it's so very much not true. Also that golden bear statue is from the old Polish children cartoon called "Miś Uszatek". "Ucho" in Polish means Ear.

No niestety szkoda że miasto wygląda tak depresyjne dzisiaj jak i 10 lat temu i 60 lat temu
