Terengganu seafood!
We awoke from our slumber late in the evening and after freshening up made our way down to the car park.
We first drove to my late Aunty's place to make sure her gate was not "straddled and met up with a neighbour who empathised with our plight. He too felt that Vivienne and husband was too much, and offered his advice on how to handle the matter.
We bade Heng farewell and headed to the Petronas station in Batu Buruk to refuel and noted that the 466km drive consumed RM86.78 or 40.36 litres worth of petrol (approximately USD18/EUR17). This meant that BiBi gave us 11.54 kilometers to the litre, which we thought was fair.
We then headed back to our dinner destination, D'Perahu Seafood.
In all honestly we could not recall if we had been here before, but we have been to the various seafood stalls here many times before. With ample parking and abundance of choice this area nicknamed "Benteng" (which literally means fortress) has been our firm favourite when seeking seafood in town.
We were rather early so had D'Perahu Seafood almost all to ourselves. We perused their menu and eventually ended up ordering:
• Ikan Jemuduk Bakar Berempah (Giant Trevally)
• Sotong Telur Masin
• Tomyam Ayam
• 2 plain Omelettes
• 4 White Rice
• Blue Lemon Mojito
• Lemon Lychee Mojito
• Mango Mojito
for a grand total of RM116.00 (approximately USD25/EUR23). After our sumptuous dinner we went on a leisurely drive around town before making our way back to the Airbnb to settle in for the night.
