D.O. CAVA: Living Land and Legacies

In recent years sales of Cava have been soaring and interest continues to grow as quality has never been so high. D.O. Cava have implemented further quality focused regulations and assurances, starting in the vineyard and finishing with bottling to ensure that D.O. Cava wines take their place alongside the best sparkling wines of the world.
D.O. Cava has made a firm commitment to sustainability through the regulation of Guarda Superior Cavas (Reserva, Gran Reserva and Paraje Calificado categories). The production of these Cavas will be 100% organic from 2025 onwards, and they will be produced exclusively by specifically selected vineyards that are certified as organic. This is a unique differential in the D.O. Cava in general, and for this segment in particular.
