There have been many compositions entitled "Ave Maria", by many composers, in many different styles...solo works, choral and instrumental, with varying melodies. This version was written by the pianist-composer, Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement just to write for Dimash. A song without lyrics, btw, is called a "vocalise", and nobody does it better than Dimash. There are no words in this version because Dimash is Muslim and Igor is Jewish, so it is considered a "prayer for humanity".

No singer on this planet, man or woman, comes anywhere near Dimash with so many genres, singly or combined.. his range and pitch that are tuned to pinpoint precision as if they were the exact technical calculations needed to land a man on Mars.. the messages in his songs are deep and meaningful to humanity.. and I dare anyone in the singing profession to match his stage presence. Dimash's rendition of "Ave Maria" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever listened to. This rendition touches the very core of my soul. I have watched this performance countless times since it premiered, and no matter how many times I have already watched it, I am still moved to tears the moment I hear the first note sung by Dimash's angelic voice. This was the final of three songs Dimash premiered in August 2021 during his appearance at the annual New Wave music competition in Sochi, Russia. He once again performed with Igor Krutoy on the piano who composed this rendition for Dimash; it is not a cover. Someone stated that this is a vocalise interpretation of Schubert's "Ave Maria" opening vocals, and that the piece uses three bars from the original composition and changes the fourth note to a higher note. Whereas a classical musician on KZread (@SirHairless), pointed out that his is more of an interpretation of the composition of Vladimir Vavilov, often misattributed to G. Caccini. Someone explained that Dimash called Igor Krutoy with an idea for a brand new interpretation of Ave Maria and asked him to compose the music.
