✄ WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Self-adhesive laminate sheets, Pressed flowers of your choice, Scissors & natural cord/twine (optional)

....This is one of my favourite D.I.Y projects to make, its very easy but the reason I enjoy it so much is because you can make them so personal and sentimental. They are lovely as a gift and the person receiving them I'm sure will feel so much effort has gone into making them, also if it has a story to tell
➳ I have a PRESSED FLOWER BOOK with flowers and leaves that I have picked up from a lot of my backpacking travels, special occasions and mixtures of different types because they look so pretty. I press mine for a while before I make these bookmarks so make sure all the moisture has gone and to flatten them as much as possible
➳ SELF-ADHESIVE LAMINATE SHEETS you can pick up from stationary shops, craft shops but I got these ones online.... amzn.to/2szORN4
➳ You don't have to stay with this cut out shape, you can do whatever shapes you like as long as they work as a bookmark :) just remember to leave a boarder around the edges of the design so the sheets can stick together. Maybe even a bigger boarder if the flowers are thicker.
➳ Optional you can add a natural twine/cord to your bookmark. I do like to keep mine as they are but you can if you like. I got my natural hemp cord and my cotton twine both in a local craft shop

can you make the laminate sheet 'shrink'/vacuum seal sort of to the flowers better maybe by going over it (gently) with a heat tool??

Hiya, so the sticky back laminate sheets I used are not for heating up I don't believe, they are different to the ones you use in a machine. The machine sheets heats up the sheets to bind them together. So if you wanted to use laminate sheets then yes you can use an iron on a low setting to create the laminate. But I haven't tried that on the sticky back sheets that I used in this video. It didn't say on them that they are suitable for heating. They work just fine as I showed in the video. Its important to leave enough of an edge around your design, if you do then the sticky back sheets last for all time. So yes I believe you can use an iron on the laminate pouches you use in the machines. Hope that helps :)

Hi Lachlan..... Yes definitely! What type of books do you like to read? Do you have a favourite? Im very passionate about self development books, self help, enlightening, positive and inspiring books. Thats what is mostly in my bookcase and out of them I do recommend a few that really changed my life!.... In my lifestyle playlist I'm going to do book reviews of current ones I'm reading then talk about ones that I have read. I find books come to me at the right time, putting your intention out there and attracting what you need, and at those times in my life journey I have really benefitted from those and they have changed my life ❤︎ ☽
