I used to love the women’s version Light Blue on my GF at the time. And I used to wear Versace Freice.

The original is actually my most complimented fragrance

Same here!Compliments from men and women.If they come out with another one and reviewers hype it up then they’ll say intense is trash.SMH It’s an ongoing hype train

Same here its a magnet. Its amazing and seems to last very long on my skin. 8+ hours easily. Love it! Love it!

@@ThanduxoloFokwebe same for me, but performance wise is an hour or 2 at best. Otherwise it stays as a skin scent that just lasts for 12+ hours on me.

All I smell in the intense is versace pour homme or allure homme sport. It is missing that slight sweetness that makes the original light blue so special

I love dolce and gabbana light blue. I have been wearing it for about 10 years. I never smelt Gucci guilty but I was thinking about ordering it without smelling it. Do you think if I like light blue that I would like Gucci guilty?

Gucci guilty is good just not as good as light blue

i 've both pour homme & light blue but pour homme is more peppery and light blue and has a very prominent ginger note

Tough call for me. Light Blue was an instant like for me. It’s one of the most masculine acqua tics ever. Light Blue Intense is equally as interesting, more modern (both are timeless) and fresher, more oceanic. I suppose Eau Intense gets the edge. I like both enough to give LB a 8.8 and LBEI a 9.2. Beautiful fragrances

I love the the regular Light Blue EDT for the gym, so I respectfully disagree! Such a good fragrance.

I agree.The EDT is a CLASSIC! Intense smells good but it’s fragrance world hyped. Everybody’s hoping on the bandwagon. I have both!And women LOVE them

CHOZ do you have a more recent batch of the light blue? if so how does it perform?

Does anyone own the newer batches of D&G blue intense? Can anyone tell me how it performs?

I use to love the EDT years ago. I'm not sure if its due to reformulation but I literally can't smell it now.

I’ve tried both extensively, and Eau Intense is the winner for me. Less peppery, sweeter, much better longevity and doesn’t irritate my nose like EDT does. Eau Intense is my go-to aquatic.

How much sweeter is it? I hope it’s not those bubblegum type aquatic scents as I do not like those as much. I like the original as I smelled it yesterday and tested it for the first time. Even though the performance isn’t great, it stayed as a skin scent that I could easily smell even into the 10 hour mark. Then when I woke up this morning I could still smell it, very faint on the skin but there nonetheless. I do think it’s unique from other aquatic fragrances in the same category because of that pepper mixed with the citrus. Eau intense people say is overall better than the original because of how it performs and because it’s not as sharp or peppery. I’m hoping it’s not too sweet though. I’m hoping it’s still got that freshness and sparkling quality like the original has.
