I actually run dnd for kids, and I’ve only ever really had one kid like this, but there was one thing they all had in common, they were all murderhobos. Scary ones too. They described in disturbingly vivid detail tearing people apart, limb by limb, organ by organ, before finally killing them. First couple times were genuinely shocking. Now it’s par for the course. They also have low attention span so I just need to keep them in combat and they’re satisfied.

Not accurate, you missed the edgy kid who plays the *inhales* Half Asimar half kalashtar Blood hunter Artificier Wizard With the Haunted One background and the Hollow One trait from the explorers guide to wildemount And he is haunted by his own very being. He does not run from evil because of that haunting, but also he hate divine beings because all the gods sent me down after killing numerous mortals (he was basically a god before that, but that doesn't really matter all that much). He had divine powers so he hate all of them for locking him in that mortal coil. Also, he refuses to be a victim, so that all back and forth causes a lot of doubt in his mind.

We would just say we do something roll a dice and if we rolled high we would do it and if not we wouldn't that was the entire game. Also if you got a nat 20 you just instantly killed every enemy in a cool way and if you rolled a nat 1 you fell on your sword and died.

That "Laser Proof Armor" was exactly what happened at my Table - even though it was "The Dark Eye". There is a Armor called "Mirror Armor" (literally translates), and its Text states its called that because the Tulamids (kinda Mamluks) "Heroes wore it polished brightly so the Sun of the Deserts reflects in it". Player insisted it is made from Mirrors and so the "Sunbeam"-like Spell from that Cleric does not harm him rather than reflecting it. Other Players, smugly grinning while knowing this beeing bullshite, supported him. So, I let the Spell reflect to all sides as the Armor is not completeley flat or even adjusted" and spreaded the Damage to the Party - exept the Dude in the Armor. Next Attack the Dude in the Armor lost it - it was Mirrors, remember. Also, he now has to fight in difficult Terrain and gets 1D4 Damage each round as long as he stays Fighting in that Area - Mirror Shards. Oh, and he got Disadvantage for 7 Years - Broken Mirror, y'know. That settled that sort of fuckery for the Future - or at least kept it down to some manageable degree. Oh, and that Dude plaed this Char on - proudly with all of that Shit. And he was a damn Fine Player later on, made us all laugh so hard. Due to disadvantage, he often had critical Fails - and had its Weapons stuck, fumbled them and such. So, he compensated by Carrying more than 18 bladed Weapons - thoose became his new Armor. He lost AC for Each new Weapon he drew but got more Agile and thus changed his Fightingstyle from AC-Tank to Rougelike in the End while fighting Matrix-Style throwing away "useless" weapons. Totally Epic. Because, before the "Final Fight" his 7th Year passed and suddenly, as his Char was build to counter Disadvantage, he had a lot of Advantage and thus Crits. Fought like the Lioness herself. He became a Patron of Adventurers, send when the Goddess of Fight sends one of "her" Saints. Suddenly, some completeley stupid and close to racists "Arabic Fighter" comes along, tries to seduce every Women (NPC and PC) with flowery Words (like "Your Hips are as beautifum as my Fathers Horses are" which is a compliment as Horses to him are kinda like Cows to a Hindu) while stumble around the Fighting Scene and go Wheatonlike from one Fail to another but soaking Fucktons of Damage away from the Party through sheer Distraction. Later on the Group can then learn about this "silly Dude" and how he saved the World, becoming the "Patron Saint of Endurance and Humbleness" even though he does exessive bragging and always partys hard. Always go with every shit. Thats the Fun with it when you are that young. And you shouldn't grow old. That's not healthy, growing old causes Death.

First of all, ninja dont need to see so the darkness wouldnt impose disadvantage, especially on one that has shadow magic. Second, the terrasque laser should have gone through the armour because if Big Chungis went to the future to get the laser proof armour then the armour technology would exist now in the past, allowing the lasers makers to adapt to the armour. Third, Shadowblade spin attack deals magical damage, meaning the terrasque would still take some damage. Also, the terrasque had to multiclass for martial arts and lasers, meaning the ninja who single classed would be much better at martial arts.

Uhhhhhh achualllwy..... ninja's rely on there senses ans spiritual perceptions, but this darkness is more than just a darkness to the eyes, it clouds the mind with the absence of sense which means shadow magic would do nothing, second the terrasque lasers wouldn't have gone through the armor because big chungis kept this technology hidden third if a terrasque can shoot lasers obviously he could just counter laser the magical damage because everyone knows that if magic meets laser, laser win, and the terrasque is actually magically martial and an artist so its really not a multiclass.

Yes but of course you all forgot that the laser beam terrasque calls in its brethren when it gets to 50% health, including the Ultra Terrasque, which has a railgun installed in its left shoulder which can shoot neurotoxin shells which none of the good guys are immune to, and it also has magic breath which destroys the sanity of anyone it hits for 72 turns or time equivalent to one long rest

@@Ravertine So my first campaign as I mention I ran at age 13, it was a pure homebrew pathfinder campaign starting level 1 using only core rules. The party was a half orc sword board paladin, a human sorcerer into red dragon disciple, a human wizard conjurer, and a human switch hitting ranger. The campaign was about an apocalyptic goblin/orcish invasion at first, with the pcs being volunteers under the independent raiders commission and it was a pretty basic "enter dungeon slay monsters leave" game. Eventually around level 8 after defeating the random name generator mini boss orcs and finding some cool treasures they had their first demon fight, it then became them infiltrating that hostile territory to root out and destroy demons because a demon prince (how I described it, litterally just a balor with some class levels), was actually controlling the orcs and using them to create invasion portals for his own armies. They failed to stop this (around the level 14 mark), and had to rally both the remaining orcs/goblinoids but explore via teleporation/flight much of the rest of the world to get every force that wasn't demons in the world to try and stop it. This all while fighting demonic assassins sent to harry them and watching as the hordes approached the safe ish areas they got attached too the first few levels. Eventually some time after hitting level 20 they got the resources/special items to close the portals and fought and killed the demon lord in combat. That was my first campaign ever. I had never dmmed or played before, I read a few pages of oots and that was about it. XD
