This review is really good, but I'm still not sure. Should a dm (not so experienced, knowing that I only have the starter set) get this, or should my players get this and I should get the dm guide ot monster manual?

You can get by with the starter set. If your players want all the spells and character options, then if they can buy the Player's Handbook that would be good. Buying the monster manual will give a new Dungeon Master many more monsters to build adventures around. I have a review on the monster manual.

Yes. There was some in Volo's Guide to Monsters, but that got changed recently.

10th printing and it's falling apart even before reading a few pages, so I'm not sure there's any way around it, Hasbro (manufacturer) just doesn't know how to assemble a book. Just avoid buying the books, try and find pdf instead. Also, the first page in your book states it's first printing (with corrections), I guess that doesn't make it quite first printing, they have a funny way to count ;-)
