    The pavo are interesting as they will spawn in caves. I find the micros are a tougher group to spawn. I had the Kilila variant and currently working with Kasai.

    They live as a school of fish as 1000+ individuals and they are not so peaceful if they feel good. They need high tanks and 5m/8f ratio as minimum.

    They are expensive but if you get them producing fry then you'll be getting free future fish so it all works out in the end!

    Can these be kept in a 125 gallon along side Tropheus?

    I wouldn't recommend it! Tropheus can pretty aggressive

    I use tap water which for me is almost perfect for tanganyikans
