The gentleman has qualified himself as a debt expert having done forensic debt audits from 2004. So whom are you talking about... Yourself?

If I were elected as President the first step I would have done is to reduce VAT to 14% and all other revenues to the minimum of 8% including import duty so to attract investors, create jobs and allow money to circulate, thus, I will be able to collect more revenues without anyone feels the pinch, but this regime have made almost everything out of reach, how will middle class who are majority going to afford cars or fuel the one they have? How will a common man be able to afford a smartphone and buy bundles for the government to accumulate more revenues? I don't think Ruto with his intelligence failed to realize that but his mission is not about revamping economy and help setting the living standards high but his mission is to create wealth for a few people, while the rest struggle to afford necessary commodities. Now a salary of 20,000 can't even sustain a family of 4 for a month, what about those house help, shamba boys, gate man are going to get jobs to feed their families? Do the President who knows how to lecture international community and leaders about economy need a rocket science degree to figure out how to run economy? Does he need prayers to suck CS like Moses Kuria and his counterpart Mithika Linturi for cooking oil scandals, even suggested that they stepped aside for investigation, if it was Kibaki KURIA AND LINTURI would have now resigned without argument. But it took a courageous thief to discipline other thieves. Uhuru and Ruto failed this country yet we elected them again and again. Let's now pay the sins of our natural stupidity.

It so sad for this country since Uhuruto ascent to power, what do we think when we replaced them with the noble Kibaki who respected the rule of law and committed for the best interest of the nation, how did we forgot that Uhuruto were Moi's project and certainly they will take us back to dark ages of Moi eras? Moi economic tactics were focused on a few rich people and subjected the rest to poverty, Uhuru first term was good because he wanted to be re-elected once sworn in he started introducing punitive taxes, signed flat rate loan bills which was turned down by both Moi and Kibaki regime. What Ruto is doing in his 2023 finance bill is not about revamping our economy rather denied common Kenyan access to wealth and saving by ensuring all money that you get ended up on essential things that we can't even afford to buy a smartphone leave alone tv and other electronic devices, does that help in revamping any economy? Only akili ndogo would think so.
