Vickie and Alan are our best friends and when we visited everyone in the community treats us like family. The amenities are first class and the golf courses are fantastic. Chuck....a big thank you !!! I have been in love with Cypress Lakes for 2 years. My wife has 4 more years before she retires at 55 from teaching school. We are planning to move to Cypress Lakes.....going to come visit not this coming summer but the summer after. I simply cannot wait !!!!!

We are up in in Indiana and I agree when you go weeks sometimes without sun even popping out it does get so depressing. Are dogs only allowed in certain areas? Do you go to front buildings to talk about what is available to buy? And do they go over opinions with you? Give you tour? Thanks for all you do! We are coming in July 2021 to check places out.

I loved going there twice but the lot rents are way to high sadly

Do they allow bbq grills and/or smokers at your home? I don't see anyone with grills. Having to take my food to the clubhouse to use a grill wouldn't interest me.

I'm very interested in moving to this area. The park looks wonderful. If you could would you let us know what tge average lot rent is I do understand it varies. We would be buying a place there ty.

Hello Chuck, I know this is a long shot, but does anyone rent homes there for the winter. My reservation was just cancelled a few weeks ago. I am looking to rent a 2 bedroom with a golf cart. It would be starting Dec 28th. I want a 55+ community and you make Cypress Lakes look so wonderful. If you have any info I sure would appreciate it.

Hi Chuck. Hi Mary. So glad to see another video. We had a question about the 5% cap you mentioned on the lot fee. Is there a cap? Trying to get my mind around being on a fixed income and planning for a worse case scenario. Could it go up 5% a year every year indefinately? Again thank you for the video!

Yes theoretically but is usually 4% or less

We are so sold on this place. We are still a few years from hitting 55 though. But would they be willing to meet w future buyers and get a tour of the place?

Thank you! We are New Yorkers, looking to retire in affordable housing in Florida or any safe warmer climate. For good health reasons, we cannot use air conditioning, and we cannot tolerate the whiteNoise of other people's air conditioners surrounding us. Is there anywhere you can recommend where we can still be in a warm climate but do not need air conditioners nor have to tolerate the air conditioning of others? This is a real deal breaker for us. We need peace and quiet and fresh air through open windows only. Thanks a lot.

Sorry that place doesn't exsist. Not in Florida. We live south of the frost line and the humidity forbids open window cooling except for a few days of the year. Our house is well insulated so you don't hear the AC. I'm from Ohio and we have few of those days here. The panhandle gets cold during the winter and actually hotter in the summer. I wouldn't want to live much north of Lakeland.

@@chuckkent1Awe, I'm not sure if you were joking or just being negative! Many may think that a half-Utopia doesn't exist! But sure it does,Chuck! We just looked into the Gulf Coast!!!! (highly recommended by a friend who lives there!) Yes, with the beautiful Breeze there, The Panhandle is quite promising as one of our good future possibilities. We appreciate your tour but we just don't like House/RV/Trailer Park living.

Love watching your videos but your wife drives your golf cart too fast thru the park. Please slow down.

Is Polk County crime rate high?

As a rule ,do these communities allow me to have a motorcycle?

Did the hurricanes affect your community? How much are the HOA dues? Alligators? Do they eat your dogs? Are you allowed to have a small fenced in yard?

If you buy land owned HOA is less than $400/mo. No fences unless on the carport. Stand up well to Hurricanes. Must keep dogs on leash. If they swim in the ponds..not good.
