I saw and heard it in her face and voice too! She seemed one step from crying about it as if it happened yesterday. She needs more healing. She is still quite hurt. I hope and pray for her healing. I know how hard it is to be disappointed and let down by someone you loved and thought loved you.

I feel you, Cynthia!! Been doing the same thing after 20 years of marriage and divorced 15 years ago. I'm not looking for love, because I now have self-love and know what love really is with or from a partner; but, it would be great to have someone enhance it after loving all of himself, before he can give it to me!!! Make you a priority to fulfill your own happiness within! I still believe in true love and you're right......just have to wait a little longer for it to get quality. I was married to my son's father in the early 90's and divorced in the 90's. It's been 28 yrs of being divorced. I promised myself that I would let God send him. Sometimes things don't work bcuz we're not healing from previous relationships. I am doing me and enjoying it. Sometimes PATIENCE is key 😊

Yes... Love yourself first. Don't settle for anything & anybody. Know the red flags. Dig deep before u leap.

There's nothing wrong with picking what you are feeling from the heart but allowing the mind to be the dominating factor can protect you from heartaches and disappointments. Requirements must happen. When we go off a good feeling it gets old and diminish or disappear then where do we go from there? We can have feelings from the heart with a plethora of people but when we lead with the mind majority of those feelings will get dismissed really quick (majority of those connections just won't be stimulating mentally.

Yall…when I tell you Cynthia is soooo much more prettier in person without that heavy makeup on. I spoke to her briefly at Peter’s Bar One in Charlotte a few years ago. And I couldn’t stop looking at her. Her facial bone structure is out of this world. She had her hair pulled up in a top knot bun and she wasn’t wearing anything flashy. She is THAT girl.
