Your right but I didn’t nor agree when he said his mother is his mother and a father. A woman or mother can never be a father and vice versa because we don’t have the ability to do that we are who we are in and who God has created us to be my mother raised me, but she can never be a man and do my father does.

Usher did say maybe his father thought it was best to stay away. That was deep to have coped with it in that way. It wasn't that his father didn't want to be there, that he didn't love or care about him. Life got to the man... and not knowing how to be good enough for himself made him stay away. It made usher a serious father as the outcome. He will not leave his children, he will always support them. Then seeing his hard work is his way of saying " all this I do for you so you never wonder why or feel I wasn't there because I didn't love you".. he didn't make his children into a sign of burden or irresponsibility..his kids became his driving force and strength.

Usher does love black women. Show me one video he has done that featured a white woman??? Certainly not as the main character show me one collab he has done with a white person? Let alone A woman. Apart from Bieber. His current Wife you could argue is olive skin but heritage is Italian who have Mors blood in them do your history or PR so what all his GF's have been black he married a black woman has two fine boys with a black woman and you want to ask how he loves black women??? He happened to fall in love with a non black woman so what??? Unlike other black artists who don't ever date black women never marties them never have children with them and never promotes or empowers black women. All the women on the stage who paid tribute where they White women? People love to chat rubbish just because... I'm happy for Usher he found love in all the right places you can see he now feels safe to speak his truth. Can't begrudge him that because she happens to be non black. When I look at his Wife I see a culturally aware respectful Woman. Who obviously loves and cares for her husband. Did you not see her Eyes when he was on stage firmly fixed on him witj love. And you want to begrudge or slate him. Get out of here.

@@byrdtaylor5703I think he's just tryna get it right this time, in ALOT of areas in his life that maybe he wasn't his best in while tryna chase his vision of greatness. He wants to respect his 1st wife and show her kindness..inclusion and friendship for the sake of his older son's..I'm sure usher feels bad that their marriage didn't work... I think he hopes she doesn't resent him for dropping the ball with her and taking this time to be as fair of a husband as he can to Jennifer and their children, tho he's never missed a day in his older son's life...I think Tameka really wanted to be married to usher and have that 🤌🏾 in her marriage but nothing's forever. Any 1st wife would feel that way, having endure backlash for just being married to him was ALOT to handle. Usher sounds like (I'm trying Tameka) he just wants to be a good man, father, son and husband...and the greatest entertainer he can be.

BET should have never silenced this out like it was, the night it aired. He spoke from truth, passion, gratitude, and with raw emotion. He spoke like a true Man, a King. A man who acknowledges his triumphs, failures, and points of pain. Someone who worked hard and grateful for their celebrity status, but also realizes what truly matters most…the family you come from and the one you create. Being a Black man of honor and intentionally present for your children. I’ve always like Usher as a talent, I now appreciate him as a human being. Great acceptance speech. The reruns need to play properly, so that it can be heard by all who watch.
