@@GenshinConcert because they do have the same power. They're both followers of that Anubis god and they're chosen to obtain that god's power. Cyno was chosen so he got the full thing while Sethos didn't. Well that's what I think, haven't done the story but that seems like the gist of it

I seriously think Cyno is one of the best written characters in Genshin Impact. His unique personality plus this fleshed out origin story, makes for such a fleshed out character arc.

They did not do Sethos dirty or anything, perhaps you did not notice but sethos has never wanted to inherit both of the "ba fragments " because it is not what he has chosen for himself, he does not want to become the sole vessel of hermanubis because that is not his ambition. He is yet to find a meaning of his existence and he is certain that it is not inheriting the power, as they say with power comes responsibilty. So it is also possible that Sethos fought but intentionally accepted his defeat (you can see Cyno and Sethos smiling at eachother in the cutscene which indicates that they were both had the outcome planned ) if that makes sense ahsjdjdkjf

Look at Sethos' spear, its part of the Tullaytullah series! I hope we get this weapon soon! For those who dont know, this weapon series contains the ff ( Xiphos Moonlight, Wandering Evenstar and Makhaira Aquamarine)

I feel like they figured out how to make those "comic panel" like Camera shots in Fontaine but then they figured out how to do it in Animated Cutscenes and they're showcasing them now in Arlecchino's and Cyno's SQ Cutscenes

I loved this story quest. It shows us almost all sumeru characters and their relationship. Sumeru is my favorite region and this story quest really made me miss exploring sumeru. The only thing i wish they did was also include nahida in the story quest

So there are versions of our own gods in Teyvat too. Like Hermanubis basically being Anubis.

There are some characters who use more than one weapon aside from what is shown in their gameplay. Every Knights of Favonius characters used bow was a requisite for their training (Jean, Kaeya, etc., even Diluc, too). Zhongli once used a sword to slice up the peak of the mountain (Summit Shaper), Childe mastered all weapons except for bow.

I don’t play genshin but I absolutely love watching play throughs and cutscenes in this way. So grateful to those who post the story like this. Thanks!!

There really is a difference between the 2 Cyno Claws appear to be made out of energy while the other one is more wrapped in bandages. But once he activates it, their hair looks the same. And of course, he would win after all, he is the general and he's been in constant battle after battle.

It's just a simple explanation: Developers want to showcase playable gacha characters looking cool on screen to make them more desirable to pull. There's no other reason why they intentionally want to nerf the traveler. If they showcase the traveler overpowering Arle, then that reflects the desirability of getting them, and a great possibility of not wanting to pull that character anymore due to that reason.

It is cool that genshin drops tiny lore crumbs here and there every now and then, each playing a crucial role later in the story. Amazing quest and undoubtedly the best fighting cutscene of all time.

when i reached to this part, what surprised me more was how much the scene after the fight kept on going since im usually used to the cutscenes being 1 or 2 minutes

I liked both stories but in the end I would have to agree with you. I loved Arlecchinos quest and her as a character, but Cynos story quest feels more action packed with a good deal of lore inside of it, it was more enticing to watch.

No. Childe can use multiple weapons, but he chooses to wield a bow. If you look at his cutscenes you can see him using a polearm and a sword.
