Exactly - it scared me to hear a bad translation that won't match the music and bad regulation, but the actors of Paimon and Itto and the lyrics were amazing! although I felt like I heard something like jazz - I still loved it

Damn, every language Itto knocked them. Kudos for voice actors ❤️and for Paimons, they also did well. Needs to keep up tho.

The only thing that can top this now a 2nd Itto SQ where he goes full serious. A 2nd SQ that goes deep into his Arataki lineage and his connections with the Otogi King (one of the greatest yokais in Inazuman history) is literally a goldmine waiting to be found

A lot of people seem to have EN Paimon in the least, but personally I think she've done a pretty good job singing it. I also noticed that her voice was slightly changed during this version, like similar to the one when the game was first released.

As far as I know, each of the VAs have done some actual singing in the past lmao it's nice seeing Hoyo actually live up to the lore (Apparently it's canon that Itto sings GOOD) and didn't pull a Hu Tao #2. I wish they did this with more characters who are supposed to be able to sing

@@za_crispy The Hu Tao one might have be a translation thing as they could have made the CN version first then the others have to somehow follow up. This time, it seems like Hoyo is able to make a tune that is able to compliment all 4 languages.

Japan version gave me goosebumps. Hoyo lucky they got TM Revolution 😊 I hope Hoyo released the full version of Itto JP singing

paimon getting spotlight is very unexpected but so welcome. the traveler and paimon have been tied together for so long that their most interesting moments now happen when they split up

And the same is kinda true for the traveler(personally i am of the school that selectable dialogue options still count because they still provide characterization). They are often between spectators and sidekicks(and in the case of the traveler, hired muscles) of someone else story.

Credit where credit is due. They did a suprisingly good job with this. Its very enjoyable in all 4 languages.

i was expecting weird and cringe feeling in eng ver (like hutao rap version), but damn itto slays them in all language,. baka mitai. 😅

Yeah, I remembered the Valvrave OP themes, when both TM Revolution and Mizuki Nana did the songs, Preserved Roses and Kakumei Dualism. Even if they are both in the game, it'd be hard to get them to duet again unless Itto does his concert again in another nation.

I was excited for the jp one just because I wanted to feel nostalgic about resonance (soul eater op) and yeah the voice is the same ❤

The lyrics are adapted from the suicide note of a child in a real-life war zone. It's a heavy story. Even in the game, it describes the brutality of war. The story of puppies rescuing animals is something you can look for in the game.

I love the english version Itto. He is so dramatic and his voice sounds so powerful. His VA is my favourite in Genshin, amazing job. He always sounds like he is having a great time voicing Itto.

Tbh, compared to Itto, Paimon in all languages sounded less fluid, a bit more awkward, like an average person singing on karaoke - maybe that's intentional, like Paimon is probably not meant to be a great, professional quality singer, and I get that.
