Cylinder Head Service: Checking Valve Seat Concentricity
Check out this demonstration of using a valve seat Concentricity gauge. This gauge will show if the valve has been unevenly wearing on the seat. This will indicate the need for a seat grind and possibly replacement as well as indicate that a valve face grind will be needed.
