Welcome to Garmin Away Days!!! The sun is shining and we are cycling up the famous Box Hill in the Surrey hills.
The day kicked off with a drive to Surrey with the boys (Rhino legs, Builder Will and Leamingtons second best mechanic, Jonny 🤣😎).
We hit the road with our pre-routed Garmin devices and cycled over to Leith Hill, the world famous Box Hill and a couple of other naughty climbs. We got some great drone footage from the main man Frankie D!
Great food at the top of the hill. However I was disappointed with the cheap ketchup 😂 Then we finished off with some chips and a couple of pints with the lads!

Mid sixties, I was 14, bruv and me and couple others, we would leave home Balham to take Box Hill. No van. I rode a purple Claude Butler, sprints an tubs,Mafac brakes, Campagnolo gears, light as a feather, tuff as a tank, the shear joy of glugging an ice cold Coke at the top, then continue to the one in four on the other side, killer. Slip back into Souf London satisfied. I have just had a knee replacement. My surgeon is a serious bike rider, and our plan is go for the Cenennes together in a year's time. Love you guys and all the modern clobber, we had the leather shoes and little berets, no helmets, but it looks just the same 60 years on🎉
