WE CYCLED ON A COLLAPSED ROAD!!!

Welcome back, we've got a belter of a cycling video with my boy @Cameron_Jeffers .
I planned the route on Garmin connect, grabbed a coffee then drove all the way up north to the Peak District / Derbyshire Dales to go on a ride with Cam. When i started the channel, Cam was one of the reasons I started to make cycling content. Check out his @KZread page and Insta below:

We parked up at the local Tesco at Whaley Bridge then headed straight into the first climb of the day 'long hill' which is great for Cam at 73 KG but not so good for us in the 90+ KG club 🤣
Good chat and Cam told me about his Zwift situation a couple of years back. Really interesting to hear his thoughts on that. A steady ride which then took us up the famous climb of Mam Tor which is a national trust site. We did have to carry our bikes at one point due to the road surface.
Coming back into town for our post ride cake and coffee, we even bumped into gold medal Paralympian legend Sara Storey!
Brilliant ride with Cam, what a guy!!!! Next time we'll be down in my home lanes and i'll take him to my fave coffee haunt!!!!!!

Can’t put into words how much I love your content. I’m a huge football fan and love your football content, ever thought I’d say this but I prefer your cycling content and have even invested in my own bike and have got on the saddle. Huge respect Ben. Keep it going

Spent Tuesday and Yesterday in the Peaks for our silver wedding anniversary. The scenery is unreal. Loved the vlogg as usual 🚴
7:30 Castleton 👍 was out in Bakewell on Sunday, beautiful part of England to visit, only a 30 minute drive from me.

I really have ridden up Winnats Pass (non stop too). I did it around a month ago and I have to say it's the hardest physical thing I've ever done. I didn't know / realise that the alternative road was in such a ppor state of disrepair, else I'd (still) be wanting to do that too. Cycling is a fantastic pasttime for getting your head in order too.
