Netherlands/Holland a dream to cycle thro. I went thro holland in 2018, from Amsterdam, heading North eventually Norway/Lofoton, then back thro Sweden . The bike IS the best way to see the World.

This is the 2nd main reason we made the videos. 1- for our memories when we're old and wrinkly and 2- to help people plan their own Eurovelo trip or any cycle trip! Anyone can do it with no practise like us!

Who needs tele?Am two days behind on Tour De France Catch up then saw your video.Am now gonna be watching you and can''t wait until you hit Switzerland!!! I am 58 and love cycling and it's sad here in Essex it's not that cycle friendly on major routes. I plan to do something like this and these films only inspire me further. That said thinking is not doing!!!!

Thank you for watching! Yes the Essex roads and UK in general is so embarrassingly far behind much of Europe when it comes to cycle friendly roads and paths.. some are fantastic and as I'm sure you know, they then tend to stop after 50 metres or so! Slowly improving here in London at least. I hope you enjoy watching the rest of the trip, we certainly enjoyed riding it and I hope you can get out of Harwich and over to the wonderful Eurovelos soon!! Take care and thanks again for your comment, it really made us smile this morning!

In fact, once we finally get married next month... (yay!!).. I plan to start work on the film proper, with dreams of getting it sold to netflix or something. Each episode was edited very quickly on the go and I can certainly up the quality with more time and my laptop. Watch this space!

Hi Steve! Thank you so much for watching! I just had a great memory down Strava lane and I found it was just on the edge of Havering Country Park on clockhouse lane. Took us totally by surprise. Gorgeous spot! I hope you enjoy the rest of the journey to Istanbul, I think personally they get better as we get more used to filming and editing on the road plus it naturally gets a lot more interesting going east!

Hi Harry! We just used Google maps in england and for finding campsites etc but elsewhere we followed the eurovelo signs in Europe and had the excellent cicerone guidebooks which had detailed maps of the eurovelo 15 and 6 and then lots of info about the places etc. Highly recommended! Eurovelo 13 into Turkey was mostly following signs and our nose.. using Google maps downloaded offline, (so not following it live, just to use as a map to find the way). Had strava on every day too which was great to know how far we'd gone and fun to look back on.

Would you tell me what month you guys traveled the Rhine segment please? I’m thinking of doing the route starting from Basel then heading north in early/ mid July and am wondering how busy (and numerous) the campsites are.

Hi Pete, we started the Rhine end of july, around 25th. It was busy but we only struggled to find campsite spots I think twice, in Netherlands and once in Germany but there was thankfully another site close by. We always tried to call ahead by a few days to try to plan nights out, in case the site said it was likely to be full. I think I covered this a little more in my Cycling the Rhine hour long video which might help. Im sure youll be fine! Enjoy the ride!

Mat Hall We have had oyster omelettes in Taiwan were they’re highly regarded. I’m ok with them but my wife described it as ‘like eating snot’ 😃. I must admit travelling to Taiwan has got me into eating seafood much more. We had sea urchin last time. The fact it was moving really put us off. Won’t be doing that again. Best wishes
