Generally when you see the cafe fucking blast it as hard as you can, and post up when you arrive first!!! Note; this works best when you hide rear of the group all ride
Do wait for everyone to finish their purchase at the local convenience store. 👀
ROCK!!!! 😂😂 yup - scattering all over never happens!!!!
“The Surge” is the worst. Stronger riders should protect and look after less strong.
Buenos consejos!! Y lo mejor, el vino!! Saludos desde España!! 🤗🤗😉
Fun video. Thanks for putting it out there.
lots of people in my club love to yell "hole" at the top of their lungs for an entire 2.5 hr ride. drives me crazy.

Would love to know where it is
There were similar issues when people from "spinning" started doing group rides. Most notably, they would often not actually grasp the handlebars but keep their knuckles on the top of the bars, like on their indoor trainer.
This is so awesome and funny too!
Great video guys it reminds me of an adult diaper commercial -
As restrictions eased, I tried to start a moderate pace group ride from my LBS. Emphasizing cooperative riding not competitive riding. But it was frustrating...some just did not get it. I was schooled for years with a well run touring club so this stuff feels natural to me. Unlike slowing down to less than 25kph when we had a flat with a tail wind section. I used to ride with a friend who could not focus to control the pace of a ride. Steady into the wind on the way out and when you have energy on the return with a tail wind have some fun. He would push early on and have to stop and rest when he got too excited. But when I tried joining my old club recently, after 25 years away, a sub 30 kph average group turned into a 35 to 40 kph paceline on the way out of town for a 3 hour ride! After being dropped deliberately the third time, I sent the group leader on his way and turned back early not wanting to blow up on the way out. One comment after from the group was how great a ride it was? There is a paceline group that will happily do 40koph average to 4 hours but this was not that group. Keep up the good work. How do you find group etiquette in the gravel races? More unknowns to deal with that a road ride...
Love it 👍
Well done!
Yeah...Zwift has made for some interesting group riders. More power than experience.
May I recommend slowing the video just a tiny bit so the information can be seen, heard and absorbed before moving so quickly to the next segment. For example, I experienced a slight language/terminology barrier and didn't quite understand what you said before moving on to the next. BUT it is such a great video, that I can watch it again! Thank you!

you may be happy to know that there have been huge strides in technology, so now you can replay the video and pause at your leisure....
How was Unbound XL? 200 was freakin brutal
No Surging, until someone passes you. Then proceed to completely shatter the group! 😂
good reminders, thanks...you seem to really enjoy that sip, what was it?
Do sprint for the town line!
Hey, Ted and Laura. Firstly, great fun video! Secondly, did you leave VT for CA? Was hopping I would bump into you folks on some of the gravel grinders around here….be well!

Here in Sonoma County there are group rides of all paces. The local Santa Rosa Cycling Club divides their rides into 8 paces groups! Something for everyone. We try to do the same at the Mill District. The purpose of some rides is social, others for training. Seek out a social group that is less concerned about their training pace?

@@lauraking7754 Thanks...the personal reply is MUCH appreciated.
I don't know how to feel about this video!
Here in the Great White North of Alberta riding 2x2 is illegal.
Hit the trail ya butt darts
half wheel 😂
The only rule you need to know: If you aren't getting paid to ride, nothing you do on a ride matters. No one gives a shit if you are the first person to the top of the hill. If you pull the most. If you beat Tom to the stop sign. What people DO CARE about is, you didn't wreck the group by being on overly competative asshole.
if you ride like crap Ted will write an entire velonews article complaining about it
