Many people made dozens of reservations and were hoping to flip them. Going forward with that plan after Tesla has warned against it is just silly.

Congrats on actually saying Porsche correctly. So many people put that stupid “sah” at the end when they shouldn’t. That said….it is quite a slap what Tesla is doing. Is it legal? Will the guy fight it in court? Should be interesting to follow.

Thanks and personally I think once you purchase something it is yours and you can do what you want with it. Then again we all agreed to this stipulation when we purchased the CT. So 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's plainly spelled out in the Pre-Order Agreement. It's laughable how people want to act like they're intelligent, but are then too lazy to read or just ignore what they sign until they test the consequences - just like a child testing their parents trying to not listen until they get their ass taught a lesson. Many of today's adults are emotional children, who shouldn't have to be reminded that if you don't like what's in the Pre-Order agreement then don't sign and don't purchase. This should not even have to be a topic for discussion.

This is a bunch of whining for the exact same thing all car manufacturers have done for initial limited supply vehicles. Regardless of what some people are trying to claim. It is very much the same thing as Ford, Chevy, Dodge/Chrysler, you name it. New Corvettes and relaunch Blazers, Ford Lightnings and GTs, Challenger Hellcats, etc. The manufacturer has a limited capacity to get new run vehicles out to the market - they force a buyers agreement onto purchasers for a 6 month, 1 year, or even 2 year no-resell period to prevent price gouging by individuals and dealers so that everyone who can JUST afford it, still gets a shot at sticker price. Ford and Chevy dealers have been denied their future shipments over it. Buyers have been repo'd and sued over it. It's a serious situation to guard your brand and reputation. You can pity-party and proclaim "I bought it, I can do what I want" all you want... you also SIGNED THE AGREEMENT.
