Great video, I ordered one 4 years ago and have received an invitation for a foundation series but am waiting to or a regular all wheel drive model. One of the things I want to do most is go to the Cape cod beaches in my cybertruck. However in Massachusetts they require a spare tire which is 1200 bucks a tow strap kit, a jack a shovel etc just to get a beach pass. Where is that beautiful beach ,and do you need a permit? Do you need a permit for camping as well .

Just saying, not many 4x4s come with duel lockers on the duel motor. Duel Lockers is probably the most important feature an off-road vehicle can have. If you think traction control is just as good, I recommend you off road more . If you are going lower in tire pressure and don’t wanna lose a bead you should probably buy bead locking wheels as well. Also, no substitute for that shit.

I'm super pumped the truck now has Diff Locks. And of course, under other conditions, MOAB, rock crawling, significant off roading, Diff Locks are key. However, you can drive on these beaches in a Subaru station wagon with ease in 4x4 and air down. I also think bead locks are awesome. The only thing I should have conveyed is that this type of beach camping or fishing isn't an aggressive sport. Slow and steady. Low speed, easy driving. Not breaking a bead here. That said, I think 22 psi is too low for aggressive driving. Sounds like 35 PSI is the recommend pressure.

@@CyberTruckOne probably no problem for a sedan or even a light pick up truck like a Tacoma but for a 6500 pound truck those beads are gonna feel lots of sidewall stress, especially deflated. Catch a rut or so …. Much higher probability on such a heavy truck. I got my cyber truck reservation ready for delivery, but the price was 99,900 for my foundation before tax and such. Probably wait till it comes down a bit. Once I do for sure, getting new upper control arms with uniball pivots. Hopefully clear 18 inch bead lock wheels on BFG KM3s. If someone has a bolt in 3.0” RR coil over i’d probably swap that for the air suspension too. Not sure about CV axles yet. But maybe heavy duty Porsche 930/934 off road type might be needed .

@@ahmadalanjary2020 Wes Morril Tesla Engineer for Cybertruck says recommends 36 psi, because at 20 psi under "aggressive" driving, you can loose a bead. Trying to determine what "aggressive" is... I had no issues. I might stick to 25 psi, if and when I go again.

What was your efficiency? I know it would be very variable depending conditions. But never driven EV on sand not sure ballpark range hit?

Great question I really didn’t check. The truth be said you’re only driving a couple miles either direction on the beach Probably did a total of 8 miles or so in 2 days. My bigger concern and something I’m going to bring up in a future video is energy losses during camping. We lost almost 30 miles in 24 hours. This was with using the electric grill opening the door 1 million times etc. etc. I’m hoping Tesla can work on some type of mode that greatly reduces phantom loads when camping. I had already turned off century mode.
