Peace. You popped up in my Algos and you’ve gained a new sub bredren. Appreciate this comparison. I’m a nurse and entrepreneur transitioning now into Tech/Cybersecurity. I decided to get my BA in Cyber security from WGU(enrolling soon). The security + and a few other Certs are built into the program. Kill two birds with one stone. I’m going to get into Gov Tech once I develop my skill sets and complete this Degree. So Optimize resume, Linked in, do projects and publish them, document the journey via content. Cool. My question is, from your experience so you think I will have to get a help desk role before I can actually transition into a cyber role or will Gov tech contractors or the Feds provide training for entry level practitioners? Bless up and keep cranking these out! 💪🏿👊🏿

Thank you for subscribing. Congratulations keep grinding. From my experience most people start off in Helpdesk role and slowly transition into cybersecurity. From my experience I transitioned in cybersecurity but I started in a non technical role as information system security officer. Just depends I would map out what you wanna do in cybersecurity it’s a very big field and gain the skills needed to support your transition.

@@TechWokePodcast I already Know I want to be Blue team. Matches my personality and mindset. So SOC for a year or two after help desk and then transition into an Engineering/architect role while developing my own Cyber Defense business. Got it mapped out just walking towards it step by step. Appreciate the feedback. 💪🏿👊🏿
