It only becomes a negative thing once V is shot and the chip takes over the part that was damaged - The gig "Psycho fan" takes place at a fans house and not kerrys house, hence the name If there's anything else I said that was wrong, comment under this post! I had 300+ clips to sort through so I was bound to mess up a few times 😅

Here are some other main story errors in order of appearance in the video: 1. Fixers don't use mercs for *their* dirtywork, usually. They're middlemen with the right networks that function as intermediaries between clients and the people a fixer deems suitable for the jobs of said clients 2. After the botched car heist in the streetkid intro, Jackie and V didn't stop dealing with fixers and do their own thing instead, this is evident in the "Good morning Night City" cinematic before the first quest as it shows you and Jackie dealing with the fixer known as Padre 3. Evelyn Parker didn't just somehow manage to get into Konpeki Plaza as she was able to do that only by being sexually involved with Yorinobu Arasaka. She is also the main client who wants the Relic instead of Dexter DeShawn wanting the Relic 4. As Judy shows V Evelyn's recorded BDs of the meeting the VDBs, it's again not Dexter DeShawn who the netrunner crew wants to klep the relic from, the only thing they want is for Evelyn to record the Konpeki Plaza layout and then deliver back said recording, Evelyn isn't even supposed to know of the existence of a biochip in the first place and her plan to steal it is one she has concocted all by herself, only after that she has any contact with Dexter DeShawn who in turn hires Jackie, T-bug and V for the gig The entire plot of the heist boils down to Maman Brigitte and the VDBs somehow knowing about whose engram is stored on the Relic Yorinobu stole off Arasaka, hiring Evelyn in order to find said relic without telling her any specifics other than to record everything in Yorinobu's suite in Konpeki, Evelyn learning about the biochip and going behind the back of the VDBs to then go to a third party, Dexter with the knowledge she has from her recording in order to get her hands on the Relic and leave her old life behind by selling the Relic to the highest bidder Things don't go as planned, Evelyn goes back to her day job as your hi-tech joytoy in the Clouds, gets her circuits fried by the slightly more than upset VDB, then gets used as a rape doll by Woodman, is then sent to Fingers to be fixed but he can't manage to do anything about her condition and calls Wakako for help, who in order passes Evelyn to the Scavs as discount meat

Also there’s one more way to play the final mission where you go in arasaka tower alone and no one dies at the end by far the hardest one and the most tedious to start since you need to sit on the roof above vik’s clinic with johnny for over 5 mins till he proposes the way Edit: you also need to successfully finish johnny’s quest line( gain Johnny’s friendship)

Johnny's Porsche is actually 100 years old in the game. You can scan it and it shows it's from 1977.

Fun fact: During the heist, while you're hiding in the server cubby, if you have threat detector - It does light Adam Smasher up, which means that he can see you and knows you are hiding in there. Even without it, he is staring right at you.

@@JonathanJuan I'd be willing to agree it's just that if he wasn't eyefucking you from a few seconds after he walks in up until he's dismissed and leaves. He doesn't look at Takemura, he doesn't look at Yorinobu, he doesn't even look at the big cheese himself, his eyes are locked solely onto you. Then once he comes back after Saburo's untimely death at 158 years old, he's back to staring at you. I think him just facing you is very much intentional because it'd make more sense to have him at least track Saburo or Yorinobu with his head. Hell, only time when he's not looking right at you is when he walks in the first time around and takes a few looks around and right when leaving where he's still rubbernecking in your direction. So it's not like they didn't give him head animations at all.

2.0 removed the threat detector and optic mods all together.

The story is one of the top stories in any video games I’ve ever played, I remember not even caring about bugs and crashes and 15 fps on Xbox one because I was just blown away by the story and the world that they created

You dont have to fight maelstrom. Game has plenty choices, and you can solve most of gigs without shootout. If you have enough stats to talk yourself out, or sneak thru the whole mission. That is true beauty of CP2077. Theres insane effort put into this game.

I played a corpo V and figured Meridith was out to fuck me over so I sided with maelstrom and she ended up having a nice swim with her favorite concrete slippers on at the bottom of the Del Coronado bay. Feels good when you get to beat someone at their own game.

So you actually missed what I'd consider the single best ending in the game. If you take certain dialogue options at Johnny's grave, choose Rogue and Johnny going on the rooftop but don't cement your choice, waiting for 5 real-time minutes, Johnny will say he understands not wanting to risk others and offers a secret ending. In it, you go as V and assault Arasaka tower completely solo. It plays out similar to the mission with Rogue, but without casualties, so she survives. The catch? The game blocks you from saving and you receive no checkpoints. You need to beat the entire end of the game, including Smasher, with no checkpoints-if you die in the attempt even once,. the game over screen rolls and you're done. No trophy is tied to it (though I think you can also get The Sun this way), but it's honestly the only way I can see my playthroughs ending-it's the one ending where V really gets to cement themselves as a true legend of Night City, walking solo into Arasaka tower and walking out again over a mountain of corpo corpses.

Are you currently playing through the game for the first time or have you played it before? I didn't even realise there were other endings without trophies, there's one with Judy too that I didn't realise was possible until I platted the game 😅

I was so confused bc I thought it had a trophy applied to it and was anticipating it to be the grand finale of the video. Sad, its 100% the cannon ending in my eyes.

Recently platinum’d this game, 100 hours. Worth every second (except the bugged trophies, but they fixed it in the recent patch and I just got them all instantly as I already had done it) Magnificent game, made it into my top 5

Appreciate that I think I messed up a few more times too - Jackie doesn't technically get hurt by the chip because the chip only activates once V gets shot, not when it's slotted in the chip port If you find anything else that is incorrect, let me know 🫡

@@LukeWatson121 Yup there's the detection one, as well as the Kerenzhokov + eyeware add-on + Defensikov (mitigation after time-slow ends)

I got the plat trophy twice on both the ps4 and ps5 versions of the game. What I did first is do all the gigs and scanners first then do the major side quests and misc. Then I do the endings and do the star ending last with leaving with the Aldecaldos so when I finish it I can watch the screen credits roll with the plat trophy popping up which brings supreme satisfaction.

The NCPD + Gigs would feel less grindy if attempted this way for sure. After finishing the main story, it took another 10 + hours to wrap up everything and it was so repetitive 😅 The Aldecaldos ending is easily the best one, I loved that entire storyline and the ending wraps it up so well!

Appreciate it bro! I tried to cut the vid down as much as possible but with 85+ hours of gameplay to sort through, the length ended up being inevitable 🤣 I'd 100% recommend checking it out again! I played it before the 2.0 update and most of the stuff in this vid has probably been changed with the update, even johnny's character model has changed a bit too!

What an absolute blast of a video man! It really felt like a movie, you placed everything perfectly. I got so invested, before I knew it the video sadly ended ha-ha. I've said it before and will say it again, you have to be one of the best story tellers here in the space! Loved the inclusion of the anime! I never got to play Cyberpunk but managed to watch the anime, Rebecca was such an iconic character. The anime was easily the best thing they could've done to bring hype back to the game and with it, they brought an amazing story which left me feeling empty inside. I really hope they make a second season, even if it's with different characters in the Cyberpunk world! Spider-Man will be an amazing one to create! I think even with the poll answers, I will include the story and just add a spoiler free misc grind at the end. Any video that praises Cyberpunk 2077 is a video worth watching. Truly one of my favorite games of all time, even at release. The new level up system isn't my favorite and I miss the old one, but its still pretty awesome.

Funny thing, you can see Kirk again later in the game, depending on lifepath. You can also get your car back later as a Nomad. I honestly wish these were more significant, is a cool idea that deserves more fleshing out. I also wish there were a newgame+ option for just sandboxing and doing all the fun stuff that didn't really make any sense with a ticking timebomb in your skull. The storytelling is many layers of "unreliable narrator", it's a genuine rabbit hole and quite good, especially if you don't take what Johnny remembers or tells you purely at face value.

I've played this game like 4 5 times and even still every time Jackie dies it heart breaking

I bought this game for laser katanas and Keanu Reeves…I got a story that pulled my heartstrings and a surprisingly well working game despite the reviews I heard. I love it, I can’t wait to be able to play the DLC, and I’m looking forward to any sequels in the future

Don't usually watch 1 hour long videos that much, but god damn was this video worth it, enjoyed every second and minute of it, cheers man and looking forward to more!

You actually do meet Kirk as part of one gig, where a weapon transport are actually old clothes and he gets shot at the start. Edit: Hanako being shot by Takemura is also explained in text messages or call (idk which one) where he says it was just a sleep bullet

This game was always incredible to me and I’m so glad I took the time to also get that Platinum trophy

I never had a issue and i played it day one on xbox didn't even cash once and it's about time it gets the love.

I got the platinum on this before the 2.0 update and haven't played the game since. The final trophy for me was gettibg a skill to max level. I figured it would unlock naturally while I got all the others. In my entire 78 hours it took to get the rest of the trophies I used Quick hacking as pretty much the only way I killed enemies and I still had to run around for over an hour just killing groups of enemies with quickhacks to get the final level of it I needed. Kudos to you for slogging through all the scanners and jobs though. I feel you.

you gotta play the DLC, they went above and beyond with the storytelling. absolutely amazing

just platinumed this last night with the DLC. definitely one of those game where its enjoyable to get trophies and doesn't feel like a chore.

The hacking puzzles are literally the same thing as those four-directional sliding ice puzzles with the walls. You just have to look ahead to see where you're going to end up next, and choose your path before you start. Go into them wild and they'll mess you up every time, go into them and think about it before you start and you'll consistently get two or more.

Nice video my guy! Enjoyed my playthrough's when it first came out (despite the bugs) and have been back sporadically since. Still need to allocate some time to clean up my trophy list for the plat!

it feels so good to know how to do the hack sequence puzzle and most people just dont get it still lol

Fun fact: you dont need to save takemura for the devil and its the one of the 2 only endings without doing any side quests (arasaka and suicide). When talking to hanako in the motel when you’re rude hanako will say taoemura tried his best for this meeting to happen. In the space station helman will come instead.

Before 2.0 cyberpunk was my top 5 rpg its still #5 but 2.0 solidified that

The point you made about the game not making it clear that Takamura didn’t kill Haniko is off to me. I think it’s fairly obvious that Takamura wouldn’t have intentionally killed Haniko due to their history and the fact that he also wanted you to keep Oda alive during that boss fight.

It was a long but VERY enjoyable grind that I would 100% recommend!

I bought it when was brought back to the ps shop. I liked quite a lot tbh. And i’m enjoying PL. My character is female and started it in corpo storyline. Right now i’m missing 4, one story related(nomads). Quick travel points… can’t remember the other two. Good stuff mate, thanks! 👊🏼

Scuba diving mission for Judy is my least favorite mission in the game lol. Just did it again yesterday.. I got she grew up there.. but who wants to spend 10 minutes under water following judy who swims at the lowest speed to get some glimpse on memories when she was like 5yrs old. Talking About a damn hockey stick, plushy and old restaurant.

You can glitch into the tower again all you simply need is a card that opens properly and you have to like back it up the car to like the entrance after that you exit the car adjusted until the car door glitches into the gate and now you can enter

bit of correction at 1:01:55 you aren't breaking into kerry's place that's just the place of a fan that's crazy about samurai hence the name of the gig "psycho fan"

The reason Hanako is alive and well during the next mission is because Takemura shoots her with some sort of paralyzing/sleeping agent, rather than an actual bullet.

the star ending has to be my favorite out of any game I have played.

This plat took me 90hrs to get the plat last year (2023) and its legit now my fav game of all time

Hanako was shot, just by a non-lethal tazer type of gun. If you watch it back you can see the bolts of electricity.

Usually when I say a game has good bones that the full game doesn’t take advantage of, the devs never take advantage of that. Cyberpunk is that one exception. We know they’re making another cyberpunk game, so the big thing for me is that they make sure the next game is actually complete and works on release.

glad i did it on the ps4 version, before ps5 or dlc releases :D

Fun fact : you do see kirk back, one last side quest

for the landing their is a place at charter hill with 2 drone n a pnj it s work perfectly. even with the 1.1 version.

Non stop played Cyberpunk day 1 finished it and had one gamebreaking bug right at the end, that a reload fixed and a handful of graphical ones, played on PC

Probably already been mentioned, but cyberpsychos were in the game on release. They aren't an update thing. They come from the TTRPG this is based on. Great video for a game that is better than most are willing to grant.

Thank you bro! Cyberpsychos have been in the game since launch but Cyberpsychosis was added with the 2.0 update I might have explained it poorly in the vid which is my bad 😅

@@Satiire Oh, so you mean we are vulnerable as V to it? Like, there has been a risk added for excessive gear use now? I can't afford the DLC atm so I haven't been able to check out the update.

@RoryStarr I think it's more of a passive feature than actually having any drawbacks but I could be wrong, still cool though! Hopefully you can grab the DLC soon, the 2.0 update is free if you want to test the Cyberpsychosis stuff out :)

I got the game when it came out (rip sanity) and I actually got a refund when they offered it and promised myself to Rebuy the game after a year. I rebought the game and now it's one of my favorite games and even got the phantom liberty dlc and It's so god damn good. I'm glad that they got an award for best ongoing game this year cause it really is an awesome game now

Where is the best save point to be able to get all the ending trophies? I saw a couple endies my first playthrough in 2022, but didn't see all of them. Of course I restarted after 2.0 came out and the new DLC. So I want to Platinum this time and your guide looks like a good one for that.

I got the Platinum, before Phantom Liberty was added; once it was added, I got the complete 💯%.

question , do i need to complete ALL the endings to achieve the plat trophy?
