Na the eng voice talent is best in this anime. It's Night City, Corpo America. The aesthetic of this world was built to represent the worst America can become since the early 90s so it translates beating eng. Just like when I watch Fate it translates best in Japanese with sub.

Lucy and David love story is another level.. story theme was perfect

I don’t know what to feel anymore. The cyberpunk world has no happy ending, where ever she goes there won’t be a paradise or someplace peaceful. Like take our real world for example, when we want peace and serenity, we go to countries like Switzerland or Netherlands or Iceland, everything there is so beautiful. But in the cyberpunk world, everything is pretty much technology and wastelands, the moon is pretty much the last place. That’s what makes cyberpunk f*cked up by also very amazing. I feel so bad for lucy, if I was in her position I wouldn’t even know where to go anymore, no more sanctuary.

Edgerunners was the one anime that made me cry for days. I mean there's sad moments in every show cartoon or anime, but Edgerunners got me depressed 😭

I loved this series, it really does portray the distopian aspect of Cyberpunk, as Dexter Shawn says "Live a quiet life or go out in a blazing glory" David did exactly that. It's portrayed extremely well from Trigger and I'm real happy to see if they are making a second season based on the "Legends" of Night City like Morgan Blackhand or Spider Murphy.

The show doesn't need a second season. It was David's story, and that's over. If anything, they should make a new show. "Cyberpunk: Night City Legends" or something. That way they can explore new stories and maybe even a different art style without being directly linked to Edgerunners.

In this scene i even thought that lucy was gonna open her suit and end it.

I can't stop crying at this part

It essentially describes someone's pain in 200 minutes, its very heart touching though.

This story hit like a truck. The failed not failed dream and loneliness is so poignant. I cannot think of anything close to the haunting this did to me. She had her dream but the dream wasn't fully there because of David not being there. The loneliness fully hits her in this moment. The world before her quite literally and the only thing she really ever wanted is gone. Truly gone. The writing here is top teir.

The endi g didn't make me cry, but it was still heartbreaking and beautifull. It gave me the kind of emotional damage that locks that into your mind and you stay with that for a while, wishing for a different ending even if it is already perfect.

My biggest fear is losing someone I fell in love with. Not even losing family, no, someone that I love in every way possible. Its terrifying.

I haven't watched an anime for a long time since DBZ and Gundam days, really liked the theme of Cyberpunk, so I gave the show a chance, and man I had no idea how much the show would hit me in the feels like that, Felt so bad for the characters as it seems they never had a chance from the start

Yup lucy and falco are the only ones who survive, and in game if you go at the megabuilding where David lives you can start the quest in which falco ends up giving you david's mom jacket

In the end it become something "I wished I didn't watch", but not because it's bad but because it's way too good... it's just, I don't want David to be dead

How he dissapears on beat when the lyrics say "so long nice to know you I'll be moving on" And it pans back to her. Such a beautiful ending, the finality and open endedness of it all. I want to hear more of the story, but not knowing the rest of her story mirrors real life so perfectly. One of the best series I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

Episode 4 really is when everything started going downhill

I was here when it was only 204 comments and i keep coming back because the song fits so much to this scene it still hurts whenever i watch this it's like i just finished watching the whole anime earlier.

@@WiroDaBean try : I want to eat your pancreas, a silent voice and darling in The franxx.. all 3 of them made me cry(the only anime that i cried while watching) and give very similar vibes to this one(especially darling in the franxx)

@@calin4598 I've seen A silent Voice and it was amazing, I got pretty emotional thorough put most of the movie, it was just so good. I haven't seen the other two yet but I'll get too it. Thanks for the recommendation

I watched this a month or so after it released and i still haven't emotionally recovered.

I finished it like an hour ago, rewatching this video in a loop to not stop ,being sad

Night City was ultimately what allowed these characters and story to shine so bright. Unfortunately, that same universe basically guarantees a heart wrenching ending.

Wolf’s Rain gave me the same vibes back in the day.
